Haha, its my first grow - I really wasnt expecting her to get so big to be honest with you :p from the floor shes about 170cm at the highest point and about 110cm wide at the widest point. Theres another 3 plants actually another 3 plants in there, she's just kinda stole the limelight!

Thanks for all the comments. She is feminized.

She doesnt really give off much smell until the branches are disturbed, when they are she gives off a strong smell that is pretty much spot on the seed description. A strong smell of citrus (somewhere between mandarins and lemons, cant quite put my finger on it) and pine.

Hey Husky Jackal. Thanks for commenting, I was hoping someone would mention something about the phenotype. She's a beautiful specimen, would love to know a bit more about the strain.

The grow tent is 2.4 x 1.2 x 2. However, I have shelving with all my nutrients etc so the plants only occupy 2/3 of that space.
There are 4 plants in there (2 pineapple chunk and 2 golden tigers - a slight height mismatch for sure but easily solved, they all seem to be doing good!)
They were vegged for 6 weeks under a 600w hps. Added a further 250w cfl a few weeks into flowering, not really sure its had much benefit though...

I ended up putting the GT into a 35l pot a bit before flowering as she was just crying out to grow more, but had completely filled the 20l pot. Im guessing if I had gone bigger with a bigger pot size she would have happily grown into it as it looks like shes pretty much filled this pot with roots aswell.
I had originally only planned on growing 3 plants, the second golden tiger is actually a clone of this lady that I took as an experiment to see how the strain grew without any training. Quite an interesting comparison actually, shows she definitely stepped up to the challenge of being trained!

we planted 3 seeds, 2 males (culled) n 1 lady... veg'd her 2mos, flowered her under 3000w (shared with other plants)... picked her at 110/120/148 days... all 3 smelled like hay when picked, did get more floral smelling after some curing... head wise 'ok' .. trippin weed from the late 60's/early 70's it not...

What do you expect from 3 seeds ?
Pop a pack or two and I'm sure you won't have any complains... :)
All the best, HJ. :tiphat:

running the same lady again, as well as 2 others (sowed 3, this time 2 girls:woohoo: )

be it 3 seeds...or 3 packs... I was hoping that the weed would be better...

n don't wish to come off as complaining... just was hoping (n still hoping) for some late 60's herb...

Just a quick update:

Over the past week she has started to get frosty, the buds are filling out and about 4 of the main colas have had to be tied up as theyre already falling under there own weight.

ill try and get some pictures up over the next day or so.

Welcome Zr- :)

Beautiful Golden Tiger fem, your grow looks promising. It's indeed Double Thai (Koh Chang pheno) x Killer Malawi, the aromas of the feminized version are much better in average than the standard, i like it overall more. I've been doing some GT fem smoking test past week and they were amazing, probably the strongest and more psychedelic weed i've had the pleasure to smoke this year.

Best wishes with the rest of the flowering!

Thanks for all the encouraging words. Sorry its took me so long to reply, I've been busy modifying the tent in an attempt to try and keep the temperatures down. Nevertheless, She continues to leave me speechless!

Dubi, could you shed a bit more knowledge on this particular phenotype for me please?

Hi Zr-,

The leaf trait of your plant looks more 'malawish' but the flowers are much bigger than straght malawi, if you have the chance make some closer pics of the flowers when they are maturing and we will be able to see more details about what the outcome could be.

Anyway, all the Golden Tiger fem expressions are excellent!
