no new pics but here some more crappy quality photos

here is top view with watchdog on duty

here is nebula that got really underfed/neglected probably lost a bit on that....day 44

more nebula day 7

sensi star on left nebula on right....the sensi i have is VERY lanky/sativish

looking down

nebula day 57 harvest on 63...spent about 3 weeks under a worn out ballast...notice top less dense as bottom two rows...took a lil loss there...used to run MH/HPS now i have 2 HPS

dried jock horror from last round...last time i will have her :( probably do a smoke report she was fantastic and long time friend

i am still working on getting a camera...bout to hydro store in a min to pick up a new RO machine..i have one from lowes works well just doesnt make enough..so cam is on the back burner right now

i will still update i will be busy installing that machine and getting a water supply where i need it ...will make my life a million times easier and be able to take more/longer vacations

thanks to anybody stopping by

hey thanks for stopping by...yeah i would love to use 600s but at the moment i am limited to the amount of electricity i wanna use....trying to get the most with the least and once i have accomplished that i will go bigger...

In the future i plan on using this same setup with 3 uncooled 600s or 4 600s in dual cooltubes...with updates for enviroment control of course

each system has its on rez that holds about 7 gallon and eco plus 1056 pump, but the coolers come with a little spout for dumping water so i could connect them all together with 3/8" tubing if i wanted , but i like having seperate rez ....i have a old waterfarm rez and controller i am about to rig so they auto top off

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this system, it is SOOOOOOO user friendly and super efficient at the same time....it was made for me by me.... and it was well planned out..

the last system i used before this was a waterfarm 8pack w rez. i liked it but dumping water and stuff was a huge hassle and all the mods i made to it....this thing litterally 10x less work and twice the yield....never been happier

thanks for stopping by

been about a week....

just took down another, only pulled 105g all nebula, respectable, but lucky to have that..bacteria infection in cloner (fixed,) short veg time, rez low bout 70% of the time and probably not getting proper water at top two tiers.

even with all that bad luck/personal laziness my best plant got 15g if i can have that in every site i will be well over gpw even with a low/average yeilding strain..nebula

but all that has changed now.....

just set up my 100gpd RO machine, i dont know how i lived w/o it now i have more than enough water to go around

on with pics

i am excited about my new sensi star. i bought a three pack and ended up with two.it is described as with a hint of sativa but one of mine is the most grangliest plant i have ever grown so i am hoping it something real special here a pic to show...

couldnt even fit it all in pic lol

here is one i started same time as this thread here is day 7

same one on day 15 looking up

same one looking down

as you can see she very lush and healthy, she a mix of nebula and sensi star #1, this one deff gonna break my personal record

the one before her is same mix healthy and lush but i put the sensi in the middle row and she overgrew and is shading all the side rows so...dunno what to expect from that but that sensi sure looks like a yeilder ...

that enough for now...any questions be glad to answer

Hee Hee Hee......Loved yer last statement on your first post in the thread Bro..........Thanks to ANYBODY stoppin by.........LOL.....You just proudta be here huh G.......

Happy Labor Day btw if yer in tha states......Gotta give credit where credit`s due.........DIY rules and yer on it......strong.......

Not sure yas know it but not many folks have repeated success with aero , and to increase the degree of difficulty by runnin it vertically shows skills along with the green thumb .........

Now .....let`s get down to the guts of this mule........Are those free standing units or are they tied together........not tied together plumbing wise , but able to be spread out and further away from the light source if need be......

So you`re pullin and settin 1 section every 2 weeks or so for the perpetual thingy and I like it , but if yas had a small pre-veg area ta blast em under some t-5`s , trim , prune , and shape em before puttin em in the uprights , there`d be so much better utilization of the sideways light blastin at em IME........

Not tryin ta tell yas what ta do , but rather just give yas somethin ta think about fer upgrades down the road..Totally understand about budget and power bill/useage constraints....

I was very fortunate through the yrs with my`ol Bro Heathie Robinson designin the setups I eventually went with after He`d totally dialed em .......Ran krusty buckets , ebb and flow buckets , and Heath`s vertical racks with my tweaks and upgrades.....3 setups in 15 yrs....the vertical one was the easiest........

You`re kinda blazin your own trail , and folks will be watchin what you do from now on .......Gladta see yas upgraded to a bigger R/O unit as they`re paramount for any fast hydro setup , while being null and void of mineral content and particulate matter that would most certainly be the death of your sprayers ........

Gettin 3-600`s on top of each other and a small muffin fan underneath with major heat/air extraction out through a good sized exhaust/scrubber combo would increase your bottom line , along with addin another tower so you`d have 5 sections or maybe even 6 for bigtime increase in perpetual setup......

Ran my Chem D`s 10 weeks and they were freakin narcotic with that timeframe......Pulled round 6 lbs every 5 weeks in those flip rooms regular till shutdown last yr......

Thanks for the show Bro and yer pics suck.........LOL......Just kiddin.........Fuck a camera......R/O for the win.....Holler if I can help yas with environment or any other issues yer on the fence about G..........Done this shit most of my life......inside and out.........

Peace...DHF........:ying:.......

yea deff in the states happy labor day to you

the systems are not tied or plumbed together, but there is a spout on the side of each cooler that leaves me that option, but yes they are not so i can move them farther from light maintence etc

all the coolers are free standing they are tied to the wall to make them more straight because they lean just slightly forward but wihthout the string they would still stand on their own. these things are STURDY.

i have a veg room it is a 4x4 darkroom 120. i have a aero cloner and aero vegger(basically a larger cloner with 3"net pots) and couple waterfarms for mums and 300w of cfl . each batch roots and vegs at most in 16 days. and the only training i do is cut the backside branches on bout day 7 of flowering but probably have to start topping the sensi star to keep her from growing like a stick . they are vegged horiz to make them more bushier which i have found is better for the vert SOG style,NOT when growing large plants

yep one wall every 2 weeks and when i update to 600s i do plan on adding another tower or two

do you or anyone else have a link to heaths 2gpw grow? i always hear great things about this guy but never actually seen his work

got some rezs to change...thanks for the kind words and thanks for stopping by

DHF

Go visit Heathie`s "Tree" thread in Hydro category.......just updated it and is back around to answer questions..... There`s BB , but the other sites are either invite only or are gone like OG, CW , and HG......

2 gpw`s comes from increased plant numbers and less wattage for environmental control in Heath`s setups.....period......the more you can pack side by side , above and below each plantsite , without em having to compete with each other for lumens or environment ......the more yields will increase....

You`ll get there......what you`re doin now proves it......only gets better .......

Peace.......DHF.........

ok been about a week...everythin doing great...got my plumbing set up to auto top my water rez

now i just need to figure out how to auto top my systems. I am thinking of rigging my waterfarm controller with 1/4" tubing and then using an adjustable drip to top off coolers...it has its pros and cons, but i am open for suggestions.

my first Sensi Star is on day 38 and startin to show phenotypes...tall and lanky with spaced out but huge buds that reek of rottin lemons and dirty socks, she has amazing resin production, honestly she is way crystally than my Nebula keeper. cant wait to try her she looks fantastic

on with pics this will be the last week of poor quality photos, i need a camera that does these ladies justice.

here is nebula day 62, she survived harsh times and still did respectable, would let her go longer but have some on deck

here she is again

here the one from last week now on day 25, its all neb and 4 SS

SS from behind

huge SS bud, compare it, that a respectable Nebula bud on the left of it

here a batch of both SS and few Neb on day 14

not much else really going on so thats all for now

digital camera time

digital camera time

it only been a day but i just got my new camera and wanted to have some fun, enjoy

my ladies are on day 63, day 39, day 26 and day 15. we will start with day 15 first

here is Sensi Star #1

here is SS#2

here is Nebula w/ SS top creepin up

now its day 26 turn

Nebula

her root porn

Now day 39 turn this has my first round of SS(#1)

here some SS shots

from behind day 26 on left

her root porn

finally day 63s this batch all Nebula

dried and cured Nebula

Some random whole room shots

here they are "opened" for maintence, plenty of space

same angle, closed

and finally some veg action, SS#1 on left SS#2 on right, and new Nebula mum in back

still learnin my camera. gonna harvest tom and will be back to update with yeilds when dry.other than that everything going smooth until next time:wave:

G

GMax

ok it been another week...

got my last round curing. it did ok...105g again. but it disappointing considering the last one got same and it vegged 2 days less and had 2 days less flowering time,oh well, i know what my mistakes were and can only learn....cant really complain either cause it still .5gpw

both my sensi stars are really lanky and grow too tall for the system, their tops will stretch taller than the nebulas above them taking up two full rows, i am experimenting with some topping on them this go around to keep them in check.

my next batch will be done in two weeks. i plan on harvesting the next one on day 60 cause there was a gap and i need to get everything back on schedule.

dont know how well it gonna do because the SS hogged most of the light and overgrew the system, growth is uneven, the top row basically nothing and all the nebulas in general runts, in fact the five SS look like they will easily be double they yield of the ten Nebulas, but who knows yet.

the nebula buds are rock hard down to tiniest bud even under 400s

lets get on with pics

it hard to get whole shots

both these are the two SS, kinda like looking in a mirror into the future, day 6 on left day 22 on right

the one on the right is on day 46, if you look real close at the left one, right in the very middle of it you can see the main stem of a SS go all the way from middle row up right through a nebula and up to the row above it......too tall lol

these on day 33

Sensi Star

Nebula

and here some budshots these are all day 46
Sensi Star, see the lil nebula completely behind it

this one massive SS

Nebula

not much else, and there no questions, so until next time ....

lovin the setup gmax great work... if its not to much of a hassle plz enlighten me on how u went about creating your setup. im pretty sure its an aero mister setup right???

yes it is aero mister system. the systems are in use atm so i hope these pictures are enough explaination for now

here you can see the lid of the cooler. there are 3 holes that are curved, this helps with the overall balance of the system. (learned that the hard way) the holes are 3 1/2 ",then two 1 3/4 holes for cords, airlines etc.

two holes in the back for access and where they water comes out

each system has 1056 eco pump it is attached to this 1/2"PVC with a barb connector and couple inches of flexible tubing. the pump lifts with the lid when i open it.then there are two stoppers so i can redirect water when i dump or want to take a quick sample

the water goes up and splits off and goes into each tube. the misters are placed to where they spray up into the wye before draining back into the cooler (red ez-clone misters). the 1/2" PVC plays two critical roles, it carries the water to the plants AND it supports and seperates the tubes. without it they may not stand on their own.

this the best i can do right now, if you have any more q's i will answer them and i will get some pictures of the guts after next harvest

awesome jus awesome man. great work. i kinda have an idea of wut the guts look like seeing as how i built an aero cloner before. How do u get the netcups to sit in the drain fittings?

G

GMax

they arent held up in any special way. those are 3" wyes and the 3" netcups nestle perfectly inside the inner ring, no leaks

here is pic of last crop before it went in jars

Nebula super crystally

Looks great Gmax.

I would only recommend upgrading to a 600 on 1 or both of the tubes, your yields would more than likely double, changing nothing else.

Also a more indica stature strain would produce better for you, given the same system. Flip an indica near 4-6" oh height, they will give you big bushy looking plants with an amazing top cola, and lots of great looking side growth.

With the longer strain you are running, i would recommend running less sites. Maybe 3 sites per tube, and alternate the spacing in the tubes next to each other, to give each plant more space overall. A stake in the site of each plant, also allows easy training to an optimal 46-60 degree angle to the light, this give the plant the most amount of space to stretch towards the light, as well as space for swelling buds.

Having run similar systems in the past, your results look great.

yeah i feel ya on the 6s trust me if i could i would, if i can be able to get a gpw with 400s i should be able to crush it with 6s i know they way better than 400s

i bought everything i had leaving me room to upgrade, i plan on buying two 600s in the future moving one of my 400s over to the DR120 veg room, and then i will have two 600 HPS and one 400 MH in the middle and that should be all i ever will need and nothing gets wasted

but that wont be till i get a new spot i am saving up money to move to CO

As for the Indica thing the nebula is indica and she produces well. when i ordered the Sensi Star the description said " mostly indica with a hint of sativa'' but you tell me.... she actually looks like she will produce better she just doesnt need as long of a veg as nebula.

the next seeds i order are going to be Mental Floss i think a combo of that strain will take my yeilds to next level

as for plant training i have been conteplating building a PVC SCROG screen right out of the lid of each cooler, i could do that easily, or i could simpy drill some screws in each lid run a run green netting over the entire thing, it would definately add to yeild. atm i am using paper clips and garden tie

thanks for your imput great minds thinks alike

long time since update....

i harvested my first crop of sensi star yesterday, her buds were huge ! she was leafy, not really bad, just leafy but they were all covered in crystals so made good use of payload bags

i got mixed up and thought i changed one of my systems rez when i didnt, she started showing signs of K def before i realized. fixed it asap...couldnt find my Koolbloom and it needed it so i used some FF Beastie Bloomz that i had lying around. Never tried it w/ GH nutes and never used it so late in flowering so i hope it ok, found my KB since and i use it on next rez change.

I am gonna begin flushing my next one tom,the one i harvested is getting bleached right now

here some quick pics
Day 47, 36 and 20

Have you thought about rotating each wye, so the lower plants wouldn't block the next row. I don't really have the ms paint skills to draw it up, but I would keep the bottom row all straight on, the whole second row off to the left slightly rotated(maybe 45 degrees off center), then the next row set off the same, but to the right.
