Thanks Doc. It's good to hear from you. they are doing good. But my new F1's are the big news they have taken off like crazy man. One just 18 days from seed at 12/12 has shown to be female and both are over taking all the others, and have big, short, wide leaves. I think I brought out a recessive indica gene. I'm going to cross them back to an original parental strain male, and hopefully I'll keep those traits. I'm hopping I'll come out with something interesting. They are looking healthy dude, good work!!
That's pretty much what I'm trying to but a couple of the new girls are growing so fast that had to top them. What I think I do when I can is sea of green at least in one case. I may also take some clones to save time growing also for a perpetual grow. "Go in a good way"Hey Ghost, looking forward to seeing some pics of the revamped case. Must be getting crowded in the cases with all the new plants??. Are you trying to grow single budsicle style plants or are you looking at mutiple branches?? My future plants will be small clones burried deep to reduce the heights as much as possible and to aim for single colas similar to "Drbudgreens" method. That way I can fit a couple of plants in together and hopefully get a perpetual grow/harvest going with a harvest every month or so.
Keep up the great work m8 as it all an inspiration to others who see it is all possible to grow in "pc's"
Cheers.
I'm not sure yet, 8 maybe more, because I'm switching to 20oz soda bottles as pots. They are a little taller, more narrow and hold more soil than the foam soup cups I was using so I can put more into a case. But I'm not sure how well it will work doing it that way. I've never tried SOG before. The case will be stuffed! I'm almost done with the case, a new silicone seal and some hood covers on the side intakes. The new light trap looks like it may have raised the temps a couple of degrees from 82 to 84, still I think I'm doing OK. It looks some what industrial but it works and in a dark room you couldn't see it anyway since it sits between the desk and a chest.a sog in a pc is a great idea! how many plants you can fit in, is up to you! 5 plants that get say 7-10 grams each (this is just an example) equals 35-50 grams every month or so using 2 pc's..1 for veg and 1 for bloom...great idea Ghost!!
can't wait to see more pics!!!
take care
