Howdy brother Big Toke  , how the hell are ya?! God dang good to see ya here. That plant was alot of fun and a long time ago, i just took a friend of mine by the place that that plant was grown, brought back alot of memories. Thanks dude, i really needed to upgrade my intake and exhaust and its made a huge difference, also having the ballasts outside the room is a big help with temps as well. The pvc is workin' good so far, no leaks and the pressure is great, i have alot of control of the flow. So here we go, i have clones in place and my favorite new addition to my setup hooked up and keepin' rez temps at a cool 70 degrees. I love this thing!

New room just startin out, fingers crossed:

And the most awesome thing ive ever seen in my life, my new CHILLER!! :woohoo:

PEACE TO ALL

Howdy wang chung, how are ya?! Yeah its all a learning experience, finding out what works and what doesnt buy doing it. I actually like the sound of the blowers, thats a solid core door on my flower room so all i hear is a low wooooosh sound, i find it very soothing, allthough i like the sound of a dryer tumblig as well so who knows. Thanks for comin by and dont be a stranger!

Just going over your latest pic’s bro ~ dame that’s one sweet system you got there, somebody’s getting series or feed-up ~ and would you look at that chiller nice!! You know I like the way that you’ve put every thing that you could that generates heat outside of the grow/room, you know folks mite not think it but those chillers generate a lot of heat and putting one inside the grow/room is a big mistake…………….thumbs-up Bonzo great job!!!

NICE!!! How much was the chiller and where do you get them? Does it work well? Also,
can the chiller be damaged from nutrient solution being pumped through it? I recon it's probably designed for salt water though anyway, huh?

One more question, what is you average yeild per light with the freedom buckets?

Nice goin bro, I'll be watchin yer thread. peace, 900d :joint:

Good mornin Sleepy dude! Thanks man, i dont know yet, till there about 1 1/2' feet high and just as wide. maybe a lil smaller, just not sure yet  .

Dude, Bella turned into jungle kitty again last night and caught a mouse :yoinks: , she came flyin' in my room and went right behind my computer, i knew she had a mouse. Luckily i helped her out a bit and moved my computer just a bit and she had the little vermon and out the door she went. I found the poor mouse on my porch steps outside my room door this morning, felt sorry for it cuase i dont think Bella kills em right away she likes to play with em for awhile :dueling: , well thats nature eh?

Sounds like a fun project WC  , this blower really isnt that loud. I have 4 in my flower room alone, 2 squirrel type and 2 CAN type. 1 CAN works the lights, 1 works the scrubber while the 2 squirrels take care of intake and exhaust for the the room. :woohoo:

Howdy again BT  , and thanks again, yeah pretty much fed up with things just not workin right and eficiently. It really does make a difference to have all those heat generating things outside the grow room. Hey BT im runnin into a PH fluctuation problem, keeps risin' on me, GH3pt at 260 ppms with a bit of Liquid Karma, any ideas? Im usin' R/O water.

Howdy 900doses, the chiller was about 370 including shipping, worth every penny if you ask me and if you checked American Agritech, it would run ya 500. I got mine from an ebay store, ill get ya the info later. It works better than i thought it would, its awesome, constant 70 degrees in the rez! I dont know what my average yeild is yet as i have only grown 1 plant in a single unit so far and the plant was put in as a last minute thing, it yielded about a half pound i think. This run is gonna be a smorgasborg of cuts so this run wont be a good judge of average yield either. Next run will be the one.

Thanks again for all you guys comin by! :woohoo:

Hey chodo, i have a question for ya, do you start your cuts right in the big buckets? What ppm do you start them at, im at 280 ppms and they look like they could use more, also my ph keeps rising, im using GH 3pt with a dash of Liquid Karma in R/O water, they have been in the system for about 3 days and have not taken off yet. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

thanks and peace

sup Bonzo ~ I was just going over your thread again and noticed that you ask me a Q…………well let me ask you, at what {pH} level is your system at? And you say that they have only been in the system for three to four days…………I wouldn’t worry about the {pH} level unless its over 7.0 that’s imo.

Howdy BT  , how are ya? I try to keep my PH between 5.6 and 5.9 and it was drifting up to 6.3. So not too much to worry about eh? I guess a get a little anal about shit like that, especially since my last run just went to shit real fast. Thanks dude! :woohoo:

Howdy mrwags, whats up dude? how are ya man, your buckets are kickin ass dude! :woohoo: Looks like you got some good growth goin. Yes indeed dude, that chiller IS the shit and its a breeze to hook up and run and it runs itself, i love it. Getto fab at its finest, i dont know where it comes from, i am a carpenter and i do biuld the same way, attention to detail is very important but can also be a problem, gotta know where to draw the line. I cant spend 4 hours puttin in a window on a job but i can spend all the time i want on my grow room, theres no homeowner breathin down my neck addin up my hourly wages. One thing i wanted to point out that some might think is me just being a total nutcase wanting everything to look perfect is if you notice in the pics during assembly of my current setup youll notice i painted all the 2 x 4s and all other wood used with white paint, i dont like to paint and i sealed with KILLZ and then painted. If wood is left raw and gets wet it gets moldy real fast, it has to be sealed. I didnt have to use white paint on my support 2 x 4s but thats what i had available and hell you never know it could be reflecting light to some small spot that normally wouldnt get any. Holy crap, i apologize for rambling on, must be the coffee! In a nut shell, seal all raw wood no matter where it is in your grow room, mold sucks.

Your gonna love the chiller wags and that was the best price i found, a good friend of mine actually located that for me, hes a little more familiar with e-bay.

thanks for comin by my homies :friends:

Howdy all, just a couple pics to show ya ihavnt lost my getto roots. Quite some time ago when i was drawin' up layouts for my space, Shorts came up with an idea to have a single dwc unit that i could rool in and out to gain access to the rest of the plants. Well i have never used DWC and lately have been experimenting with soil, and i like it for moms. Anyway i have a big mom that im going to flower out with this run, she started in a 1 gallon pot, then to a 4 gallon square bucket, and i just transplanted her into her final home, a huge (i dont know how big, maybe 7 or 8 gallon) pot that is really heavy so here is my high tech super getto solution:

here she is in her place, how do i get her in and out?

here she is awaiting transplant:

here she is after a little "pinching and bending"

and here she is on her high tech mobility unit, it works great! i ride a more "old school" board and my mom found this somwhere and it sure has come in handy!

it never comes off the board i roll it out and roll it back in, works like charm!

peace to all
