I love chili but I hate chili with beans. So when I make chili it is always just pure meat, none of those beans as "filler." Here it is in the pot:

And nachos, chili & cheese:

Shrimp Tacos

Shrimp Tacos

Quick and easy!

I slice up some fresh picked garden tomatos, cilantro, oregano, grated cheese and small hot pepper. Sautee shrimp in corn oil with cumin , garlic pepper and sliced small red pepper.

Brown your corn tortillas in oil and work with them hot, so they dont break. A toothpick helps to hold the form.

put in shrimp, tomatos cilantro/oregano, drizzle with lemon juice, then top with grated cheese and serve.

Herman, that fish looks delicious. How were the cheeks? The starter course looks wonderful, too. What's surrounding the steak?

Strawberry and steak tacos, wow that's a new one to me. Sounds delicious though, I got to remember to try that one when strawberries come back in season. Thx for the inspiration Dr. P!

Had a special NorCal delicacy last night: Abalone steaks fried in panko topped with Piccata sauce, came out tender enough to cut with a fork.
