Flowers for the Ladies

I could see your pix, noyd, but no one else could. :)

Herbalist, the petroglyphs, are those on your property, or near you? I have always had a fascination with archaeology, even wanted to be an archaeologist when I grew up and went so far as to take some schooling. Until I learned that, back then, archaeologists live from government grant to government grant and most were driving Volkswagens not as a statement, but as a matter of practicality. In any event, I still subscribe to Archaeology Magazine and read it cover to cover, and always enjoy more information along with historical or pre-historical contexts.

Those cactus flowers are truly beautiful, herbalist. I'm not sure if I like the cactus flowers better, or the orchids. I love 'em all.
