Thanks for the heads up MagiKhan. I think some of the plants I've had, had this TMV. While none of the ones I have now show any symptoms of the virus. I have a harvest in five days. I think I'll sterilize everthing with some shock then. I guess that there's only one thing to if your plants have TMV is to get rid of them, but I'm not saying that's what you should do. I know I'd have trouble doing that to something I've put time into. Still I don't think there is any other way to ensure eradication of the virus, but by pulling them out, and shocking everything. Good luck my friend.

The only museum we went to was the Hash museum:D
Theirs so much to see/do that we just didn't have the time. Even walking around during the day is like touring a museum, the history of the 'Dam shows everywhere. It is truly a beautiful city and well worth exploring on foot.

It is a beautiful city. The architecture of the churches alone is amazing.
So true bro, I was blown away at the architecture, and how clean everything was.
Let me tell you first hand that what you hear about how clean the McDonalds bathrooms are over their is 100% true!
I used to run a bachelor party agency in NJ and did A LOT of parties at 4-5 star hotels and the McDonalds bathrooms in the 'dam are cleaner than ANY of them. I shit you not!
Also, they don't use high fructose corn syrup as a sweetner, they use real sugar. Cokes and Pepsi's taste much better. So does the McD.

It's Friday after work here in England. Hope everyone is having a good weekend planned.

Evlme2 - loving the pictures. Glad you are getting to see the city. Love how they have the huge I-beams at the top of the buildings so they can bring big stuff in through the windows. Glad you are having a great time. Dutch Flowers is a good coffeeshop to just sit outside and watch the world go by...their smoke (hash) is ok too.

Have you noticed that the Dutch try to kill all stoners with those wicked steep stairs? No handrails, no mercy.

What to smoke tonight: Himalayan Gold, Purple Kush, Nebula or Mauwi Wauwi are the menu choices at the komrade's kollection tonight....and the special accumulation of sift powder from the space case. It is from 3 or more strains...so I call it CONFUSION and it makes me go to bed early.

Gonna flip the White Russian this weekend. In a cab grow, vegging past 12" presents problems. If my m8 doesn't come adopt the two girls this weekend, they will be growing in the english countryside Sunday afternoon.

Hey Evilme2....check out some Cheese if you get a chance. See why the English are so proud of the strain. A bitch to grow (not nute friendly) but a nice stone. Indica with a nice trippy head too.

evl - Love the pics, the ones in sensi star are awesome. Hope all continues to go well. Looking forward to the big upload of pics to come!

MK- Post some actual pics of your issue. TMV is a pretty big jump to make. I would go to all lengths to make sure it's anything else first. If its TMV you will have to get rid of everything and bleach all your equipment. It's quite the hassle.

As you can see mine are not any different then the ones in the thread except the second one is of some AK48 thirty three days into flower.
Notice the third pic shows some damage to the leaf on the right, that's not bug damage as far as I can tell.

I think I've had a simular problem not long ago and may still. But the plants I'm harvesting in five days are healthly and have no signs of TMV. But some of the others may have it. I think after the harvest I'll get some shock clean everything And start fresh again. Good luck my friend.

Well stress definitely brings it out, and this box has some light leaks ( so I discovered when I had some DNA RockLock hermi on me).
I'm still thinking about my options.
My White Widow #3 pheno doesn't seem to care though,....speaking of this pheno. The only one I have in flower now got so heavy it pulled the tie loose holding the main cola and snapped the main stem. I put a split on it.....only time will tell....35 days in....
I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

What is your setup? It looks like it coud be a fungus, algee, or something. It looks close to TMV but I would try everything else. It looks like a nute lockout more than TMV to me but I've never delt with TMV.

This is a Northern lights plant being grown at Sensi Seeds. They topped the shit out of it!

Thanks for the pics but...........that shit is bananas. :yoinks:

The wifey and I were looking at your "Dam" photos and she's been inspired to try a vacation there next year rather than our annual Costa trip. I can easily pass up on two weeks of surf in exchange for copious amounts of Lemon Haze and Moroccan Hash. Now if I can just accidentally plan it to coincide with the Cup....wouldn't that be lucky.

To rest of you fishing fanatics, I am taking the Kayak out to the flats tomorrow to avoid the weekenders and maybe catch a fish or two. I have a few spliffs rolled and ready to fire, bait traps set and the iPod is charged. Wish me luck and hopefully tomorrow I will post some fish porn...if the fish gods are smiling upon me that is.

I wish y'all a scandalous weekend full of good clean debauchery and as always... Be Safe & Be Cool.

peace.

I'm leaving for Guana in like three hours myself. Hoping to get some good fresh and salt water fishing done over the weekend. Good luck out there!

I wish it was something else. The twisted leaves with the mottling is a dead giveaway, and from what I've read only caused by TMV.
I've read just about everything that google will return on the subject, from Universities to other cannabis sites. All pretty much the same......if you got it your fucked!

..............
OJO's pics clearly display a chlorophyll mottling which is also another symptom,,this is not
a symptom nor sign in any other case other than a mosaic virus....end of story.
......................

This mottling of green chlorophyll where 1 single leaf will be segregated and be yellow or light green and then a healthy dark green is an indicator of the protein mutating at a cellular level and altering chlorophyll production.

I'd take those plants out side and dig a 3' hole in the earth and plant em...

otherwise burn em up!

Is there a non-nuclear fix for TMV?

Yes and NO !

Here's a few quotes..

"this virus is like herpes, it flares up from time to time, the symptoms may never go away, but your plants will still produce good bud, but the plant may reduce in yeild, you may only see a reduction in yeild only 3-4 grows away.

imo the best thing you can do is to do as much research into viruses in hemp and cannabis, and see what is safe to use. then when your crop is done, and the room is clear treat all walls and equipment with physan 20, then segregate your mom in its own chamber and treat it with somthing that will work but not harm the smoker or plants.
"

"These symptoms are but one of many as the disease progresses it goes through stages and each stage will have varying symptoms.
If you have a stress free environment the symptoms may not appear until into flowering.
Stress is what makes the symptoms appear and surface quickly."

So after much reading, some plants will show little or no effects due to TMV ( or the numerous other variants) as long as they are in good health and stress free. Some may not be as lucky, when they hit the flowering stage the shit hits the fan.

The box with the AK's in it is my most stressful box, with a small light leak, this is why I didn't put the symptoms together, my other box's are hydro ebb n flow rigs and this one is soil. The light leak is enough to cause a feminized plant to hermi in no time. I'll repair it the weekend.

I haven't made any changes yet, but I believe I will get ride of my Nirvana White Widow #2 pheno ( grape). She has TMV and is not quite the producer as my #3 pheno which will replace her.

I've been meaning to build another veg cab, so now that will be more of a priority. So will cleaning, hand washing and other sterilization practices. New mom's will be made and kept isolated so to try to eradicate this from my grow....if all else fails I will go nuke and start over.

Here's that plant that fell over yesterday. I splinted it and she looks like she will make it. Right now she looks a little shocked, but not to be considering the break.

Good job on the first aid MK, I've had entire branches split from the main stem due to bud weight. Duct tape can also be your friend in these situations.

Khan - looks like a good splint job.

You point out one of the biggest problems with continuous production systems...not ever a window for a reboot of all the environments.

Can't really do a scrub club during a grow can you? I'm not willing to risk that much smoke tasting like shit...although with bubblebags....hmmm?

Damn shame it is the AK...such fine genetics and smoke.

Been reading a thread on planned defoliation...interesting read...quackery? I dunno....but am gonna test it with a white russian one day into flower. Most of my prior defoliations were not planned...hahaha. Shaved poodle effect coming soon.
