I wrapped it in pladtic wrap and wet newspaper pressed it on the rosin press set at 120. Then I threw it in the microwave for 10 seconds and started hand pressing it, then I rolled it out with a glass jar.

So here's a pic to liven the party a bit. Here's some hash goodness. View Image one ounce slab of awesomeness. This is from the round i did Sunday. Stl have a couple more ounces from that round. Still drying the run i did Tuesday. Probably about 5 ounces their to.

Hey jungle mates, hash smokes pretty good. I was real happy with the way it pressed out.I am hoping it last longer this way. I am thinking of making some medicated pies for the holidays.

The shed is all cleaned out. Ready to get on some upgrades now that the weather is getting cooler, I don't mind going outside so much.

They busted a grow up in the mountains by where we went camping, 7800 plants classic cartel grow. Camp sites and trash everywhere. These assholes give all growers a bad name.I used to lnow a guy who grew up in the mountains, dude had garbage bags of dank blueberry.

I wrapped it in pladtic wrap and wet newspaper pressed it on the rosin press set at 120. Then I threw it in the microwave for 10 seconds and started hand pressing it, then I rolled it out with a glass jar.

Good afternoon Packerfan.

That is some great hash porn right there. I thought my golf ball sized hash ball was a good run but that's a real masterpiece right there. whats that like 1/2 pounds of hash all together. Good job brother.

Medicated pies sound like a great way to spread Holliday cheer. I've not heard of making medicated pies but it sounds great. Do you medicate the crust, filling or both? I like a good pumpkin pie myself, not too sweet.

I bet that's a great feeling to have your grow space ready. I'm really looking forward to getting set back up and getting some plants going again. Did you get your lines and drippers up and running yet?

I've been reading a lot about the big illegal grows latley in a thread here about the triangle. Lots of people going big this year and really trashing the land. You'd think that people would have more respect. I guess when there just in it for the money they don't give a shit. You are right they arnt doing the cause any favors by trashing nature, diverting water and littering everywhere. I'm so glad that I'm not buying commercial buds anymore. I don't want to support that and who knows what chemicals they are using on those plants. Yuck!

That's a great idea to use the press for hash. I've always used my fingers for small batches but for big batches that must come in handy.

Hey Fiddynuts, no I haven't gotten in the drip yet. Sheds cleaned out hoping to get at it in the next couple weeks.been super broke, lately. The dryer took a crap so I had to get a new one, there is 350 down the drain.

that looks like a really nice slab of hash, packerfan
it looks soft and the color is really nice
how does it smoke?

i like your idea of moving the plants inside of coolers, fiddy!
these gals were kind of big but you could easily move plants in 1g containers in a big coleman cooler
even one of those lunch pail type coolers would work for clones ir smaller plants
that was nice of you to let her keep all the plants
did you guys trim them up too?
be sure to advise her on good drying technique
dont let a good harvest be ruined by bad drying practices
i bet she is super happy wiht the results and both of you should be proud of your efforts!
thats real fruit of the land shit where you guys are providing for yourself through good honest work
she knows exactly what went into the weed and should feel a special connection to plants she grew out herself
sounds like you get where im coming from when i talk about fine herb!
indoor grown can be a very homogeneous product but fine outdoor is a different thing all together
i love the consistency of indoors but you can beat a nice landrace grown in its native habitat
i am so ready for this weekend, just a couple more days to go

Good afternoon pop_rocks.

Yep the big cooler has come in handy a couple times now. I don't plan on moving any more plants but if I do it makes me feel safer. I also use the cooler to put my jars of bud in during the later part of the cure and for storage. It keeps the light off of them and keeps them together.

My friend needs the harvest more than I do and I'm glad to let her have it all. I should be ok with what I have until next harvest if I get going on the next grow soon. Plus she has the one plant left that might yeild a lot and maybe I'll get a little of that one. My bros 3 plants are doing great so we will have some good meds there too.

Looks like I'll be finishing the drying of the harvest for my friend. She just left for a weeks vacation so I'll be heading over to check them today. They are in a shed outside so not sure how quick thy will dry compared to how stuff drys in my basement with the dehuy going. I'll get it dried and get the cure started for her. I haven't seen it since Monday night so I hope it's coming along well.

She has been smoking over 50 years but dosent smoke a lot. She grew a few plants with my parients before I was born and that was the last time she had fresh homegrown bud. I'm sure she will be super happy with it. I've been giving her some of my buds, mostly from the autos I grew a few months ago so she has a good taste for the strains. It sure is nice to get a harvest without all the hard work and expense of an indoor grow. I'm looking forward to getting a taste of it and comparing it to the stuff I grew indoors.

I'm really looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend too. I need to get some chill time in, the last couple weeks have been busy as it gets. I have to get my bedroom closet cleared out and get the t5's in there and get some seeds popped too. Never enough time it seems to get everything done.

Good afternoon Packerfan.

Sorry to hear about your dryer going out. Things like that always seem to happen at the worst time. And going to the laundry mat to dry stuff sucks.

Looks like I have to come up with 4-5K$ for a new well pump, pipes, and new lateral line to fix my leak. I was actually thinking it might be more than that so I'm not in sticker shock. Once I get this done I shouldn't have to deal with anything related to the well ever again. Time for me to go to the bank and find out how to get a loan.

That sucks about the well issues. Hopefully it isn't to much of a pain in the ass.

We wound up getting a really nice front loading LG dryer on clearance for 325 so that wasn't as painful as it could have been. Now the wife is going to want a matching washer.

Fiddynuts that's awful nice of you to let her keep all the bud from the harvest, and drying and curing it for her.

So an old grower friend who helped me get my grow going, came by lastnight. It's really sad. He quit growing, and started driving truck, a couple years ago. His wife had a stroke about 6 months ago. Then in the rehabilitation facility they dropped her on her head. She's basically bedridden, and she has 4 kids from previous relationship. Now my buddy is raising the kids and taking care of his wife. He had to sell his house, can't work. No good. I feel bad nothing much I could do to help

yeah man, that is totally cool that you are letting her keep all the buds
that is rad that she knows your parents, that makes her almost like family in my book
i hope it lasts her a good long time and she enjoys the bud that she helped grow
/i always get a kick out of smoking my own weed
plus we are not supporting a fucked group of people who grow for the dough with no care for anything else
hope you are able to wrap up your week strong, its pretty much in the bag
i cant wait for the weekend!

Good morning Packerfan.

That's really unfortunate about your buddy. Sometimes life seems extra cruel to people who don't deserve it. Your buddy must be a really stand up guy to stick with it and raise someone else's kids. Hopefully there will be some light at the end of the tunnel for him. I know how much it must suck to want to help him but like you said there not much you can do. Just being there for him as a friend may be more help than you know.

Good morning pop_rocks.

Yes I'd like nothing more than to smoke only my own bud for the rest of my days. Maybe it would be nice to find other growers who don't poison their product to trade some buds with from time to time for some extra variety. Don't want to support big greedy commercial operations at all and don't want to smoke their crap either. If I can keep growing I think this will be a reality for me.

I'm also looking forward to the weekend. Gotta get some rest and get a few things done around the house. I was too busy to play any disc golf last weekend so I have to play a round or two this weekend. I got my closet cleared out and got the t5's in so its time to pop some seeds this weekend too. Looking forward to that. I miss my plants but it's probably good that I had a break, I've been so busy they would be neglected.

Jungle update.

Jungle update.

Greetings friends.

Its time to get back to growing in the jungle. I know we like to talk about all kinds of stuff here but since it's a thread in the grow section I feel like there should be growing going on here. It's only been a few weeks but it's time to get back to growing and talking about plants.

As of today I've put my t5's in my spare bedroom closet and I'm ready to pop some beans. After work I'll get the seed collection out and get some beans soaking. Tomorrow I will plant them into 4" pots and in a few days I should have some babies growing.

My well issues are going to be fixed soon so the tents will be going back into their spots in the basement. I will be adding a spot for a mom and clone area as soon as I need one.

Lol... I just popped some lost ship!

Fiddy, have a spotted cow for me please! My sister was just up that way and failed me in bringing back a keg I asked her to! Well more specifically bringing ANY back to me... but didn't fail to bring back a German shepherd puppy -.-

Good afternoon Packerfan.

Yep must be the late summer planting season. Can't wait to have some plants going again.

Are you potting up in coco? I didn't even know that was possable. I was under the impression that coco works best when you start the plant in its final pot and avoid the stress of repotting and that was part of the reason they grow quicker in coco. I learn something new here every day...Fiddy.

Good afternoon Badfishy.

Good luck with your lost ship. I hope you get some great lady's out of them. I've not heard of that strain please let us know more about them.

I love me some spotted cow. It's too bad than new glarus dosent distribute outside of wisco. When we moved to Cali I went to a ton of liquor stores trying to find some without sucess. I think I even called the brewery and that's when I found out I was out of luck. It's funny that I just heard a storie on the news a while back about a bar in Minnesota that got caught crossing the border to bring spotted cow back. I guess their customers have good taste. I will pick up a sixer on the way home and have one for you tonight.

A shepherd puppy sounds like a great score. We are big dog lovers here in the jungle. I think all the regulars here have at least one dog. I have a mixed breed that we got from a rescue about 4 years ago. Rufus is a grate Dane/lab/pointer/unknown mix and is a good boy. He loves to go disc golfing and for car rides. Give that puppy a hug and some pets from me...Fiddy.

Hey Fiddynuts, Badfishy, POP rocks. Yes I am pretty sure I am going to up pot in to coco. I like to transplant at least once, doesn't matter if you start in soil. I always start my seeds in happy frog soil. Then I transplant into coco. That way I don't have to worry about overfeeding, happy frog gets me through the first few weeks. I think it's autos that are supposed to be started in their final pot.

I am an animal lover here. We hot a black/chocolate lab, and a purebred German Shepherd. Also a cat, bird, hamster. And three little munchkins. Lol.

I must be rubbing off on the kids, I put football on the other night. All three kids are running around the house yelling "it's time for football." I have to make sure the don't like the wife's Patriots. Lol my daughter likes to tease me by saying she likes the patriots. This little girl, is something else. Lastime my Packers were in the Superbowl, my son was like 1 or 2 my aunt sent us matching chesseheads.

I am going to tell my dad about the bar smuggling Wisconsin beer. He's a Vikings fan.lolmore like Viqueens. My lil bro is a Packer fan also. He has a shirt that says drink Wisconsinably. I must be getting old because I buy beer for events like camping, or parties, I it sits in the fridge for months.I don't have many people to the house, and I don't drink alone. I do get schlickered when the wife's family comes out from Colorado, those fuckers can party.

i think there is a certain satisfaction you get smoking weed you grew yourself
you have this connection to the plant and know everything that went into growing it
plus its the safest, sanest way to go
/ive long believed that if they would only let any adult in america to grow their own weed, it would kill half the black market and greatly limit kids access to weed
so do you have to schedule your disk golf or can you pretty much just walk on when you want
how late can you play into the year?
yesterday i felt the first hints of fall in the air
at one point in the afternoon a cool breeze blew by, but it had that fall chill to it
we will still have great weather until late october or early november anf even then it just means wearing long sleeve shirts
but summer is coming to a close, guys
/some coworkers kids are already back in school!

one of the plants i moved to my friends house isnt doing so well
it looks like the exposure to sun really shocked her
the other one is doing great!
/we even named her schmoopy
i dont think there is anything he could have done differently to help the one plant that isnt doing so well
but he seems to be getting a huge kick out of having the plants in his yard

welcome aboard,badfishy1
/i remember you from your fox farm thread
that sounds like an interesting strain, ghostship there
what is its lineage

hope everyone is in full weekend mode!
oh, and its always nice to see rufus make a guest appearance on the thread!
hope he is doing well

Good morning Packerfan.

That's right I think you mentioned that you start your seeds in soil and I spaced that. That makes sense for probably many reasons. Like you said it has enough nutes to get the seedling off to a good start. I bet it's tricky to feed a seedling in hydro, the little ones can be sensitive. I'm guessing it's also good to save on space with smaller starting pots the way your doing it.

I think your right about a no transplant strategy being best for autos. I got away with an early transplant of the first run of autos that I ran indoor. I think what they really don't like is to be transplanted right as they are maturing around the 3 week from sprout mark. It must confuse them or something.

Are you ready for some football?! I'm not sure if I'm quite ready yet but were allmost there. I'm interested in how the pack is going to play this year. There have been a lot of bumpy rides the last few seasons. That's very responsible of you to raise your kids to be packer fans. It's pretty special for a little town of 100k people to have a team that plays in a league of big market big money teams. And to have a winning tradition makes it all the better.

I'll see if I can find the news storie about the beer smuggling and put up the link for you. It really is that good of a beer that people go to that kind of trouble to get it. The drink wisconsinably shirts and hats are great and I'm seeing a lot of them. I guess we drink a lot more than most states per person. Not sure if it's a good thing to be proud of or not. I like to have a couple drinks after work with some herb and to relax.

My one and only run w autos I started indoors and tried to transplant outdoors. Yes I acclimated them to full sun and they were doing well until I transplanted them into the ground. After transplant, they stunted for about a week then went into flower... left me a bit sour about autos to be honest. But I can fully understand those that use them for timing purposes, just not my personal preference
