8-27 Updates

The Purple Mexican's
The Destroyer's, The Thai dominant plant on the left has been very difficult to keep happy. The Colombian plant on the right is more robust and stronger in all aspects. They are both just starting to show pistils in the last few days.
The Michoacán Cream. The two plants are very similar in structure. The plant on the left is getting beaten up pretty good by those biting bugs. The plant on right for whatever reason doesn't seem to have any issues with them.
The Queen Mother is flowering. just starting to form clusters of pistils. This plant seems healthy and happy. Peace

8-27 continued

This is the Orient Express x NepJam. They have vigorous growth and many bud sites forming.
This is the Golden Tiger. Everything about this plant seems right.
This Guawi is making clusters now. There are branches and stems still forming pairs of pistils.
This is the Acapulco Gold. If there is pistils yet I'm having a hard time finding them. Just so much to look at and through.
The Zipolite Oaxacan, I'm not sure what kind of bud structure this plant will have. It will have a lot of whatever it is. Peace

8-27-Update

This Angola x Kali China is one of my favorite plants I've ever grown out. Not for any exact trait the plant has. More just because the Angola genetics are so rare, and I'm so honored to have the chance to grow them out. What ever she produces will be kept for my personnel use next time I get to smoke.
This incredible plant is the Lilly x MaPettit. She is already stringing together columns of buds. This plant apart from any error on my side should be very inspiring to dreams of next seasons grow.
This NepJam x Kali China is starting to form nice columns of bud like the Lilly x MaPettit is. There is two plants in a 35 gallon root pouch bag. The left plant is just starting to flower. While the right plant was the first plant to show pistils and form buds. I'm looking forward to seeing the differences in the early and later flowering phenotypes.
These two are the Peyote Purple's. The right plant ha an issue taking up water for a while. I think I damaged the tap root while checking soil moisture with a test meter. There is a lot of new growth happening all over both of these plants. I expect the left plant to produce a very nice sized cola. Peace

8-27- Updates

These Malawi x Kali China are very Malawi dominant. They are also suffering from some bug bites to the leaf veins. The plants are still strong and I'm going to do everything I can for them. The New Malawi Killer and the Purple Malawi I planted very late. I don't expect either plant to produce much at all. These two plants are my best shot at having some Malawi buds to share with friends.
These Malawi Pink Hair x MaPettit are really great plants. They don't have the Malawi structure or smell so I assume they are a even blend or MaPettit dominant plants. I have very little knowledge of the MaPettit genetics. I have three plants in a 40 gallon plastic grow tub. They would have done better having only two plants in the same tub. I separated these plants further apart from each other in the tub. Other plants I have multiple plants in a 35 &45 gallon root pouch grow bags. I have some closer together to form one large root ball and others separated to form separate root balls. At harvest time I will review each tub and see if one format had a better growth rate versus the other. It may be a mute issue in the end. I was just curious if one was more productive over the other. If I didn't overplant it wouldn't be an issue. But since I know I'm going to overplant. I just wanted to refine my greedy nature. Anyway I hope you all have a great week of growing. Well I need to study some bugs now and find a bug that eats them. Thanks for stopping by. Peace :tiphat:

Thanks Buddler for the tip. I got with my people over at Planet Natural in Bozeman Mont. They are a great group of people like we enjoy at Ace. They are very passionate about everything they do and their service is great. We discovered that the insect is a sand fly. (noseeum's) The larvae drink from the plant until their wings form then they move off to another area. Lady Bugs will eat the larvae and eggs. So I have another 2,000 lady bugs on their way to clean the room. The insect specialist at Planet Natural didn't feel a total infestation would be an issue. They are a carnivorous insect preferring flesh. I did spray down the four affected plants heavily this morning. I will flush them again this evening when it cools down and won't stress the plants. Anyway, I hope you all have a great and safe week. Peace

Glad you got it figured out. Natural solutions are always best IMHO.

Your greenhouse looks spectacular! I would love to have one of my own someday. Congrats on all the hard work.

Just outstanding work Farmerlion and nice collection..!!

Since you are using some large gallon-age containers, are you purchasing some short of top soil by truck and then doctoring it up or purchasing pre-mixed soil(which could be pricey which is my delima)..?

Keeping my eyes on your Michocian Creme Dream and the Guawi ..!! Just spectacular work and passion..!

Thermal Rider, I bought most everything at Wal-Mart. I buy the 56L bags of soil Natural? something. It has worm castings in it and I get the large bags of peetmoss. From Planet Natural I ordered a few 65lb. bags of worm castings. Then I have a calving tub that I mix it up in. 2 bags of soil to a half a bag of peetmoss then I mix in another 5lbs. of worm castings. While I'm mixing it up I mist the soil with evenly mixed Alaskan Brands fish emulsion for N and MoorBloom for P&K. I later add more worm castings to the soil top and water it in. It's a slower nitrogen pick up but it seems to work for me. Sometimes I add a lid full to my 2 gallon water pot and give them a little boost. I'm giving a lid full of MoorBloom now about every 6 waterings. The Michoacán Cream's and the Guawi's are some of my favorites as well. But then again I didn't germinate anything I wasn't passionate about.

Chunkypigs, Thanks for stopping by and visiting. Flowering should be interesting in the next two months. Please stop back again and say Hi. Peace

AH, the KEY! I'm not allowed to vote on anymore threads, farmerlion, else you'd be president;) It's interesting for me to have an abundance of good, cured buds... really takes the pressure off the current grow, lets me sit back and watch the show with glee. SPeaking of which, your burlesque girls are starting to show a little shoulder;)

Deepwaterdude, Thank you for your kind words and support. As you already know, none of us grow to receive praise from our friends here. But to share our love for this plant. The pistil packing Burlesque girls want to show a little skin.

The girls that had the sand fly issues are looking a little better today. I left the fans on all night and the vents open to bring in some cooler air. While taking pictures I didn't feel any bugs biting me. I did mist the affected plants heavily this morning as well. I think all will be fine when the Lady bugs have done their thing.
The Angola x Kali China had a nice surprise for me this morning. She is packing pistils and looking strong. The Zamaldelica looks very close. I'm guessing they will have pistils as well pushing out by the end of the day. I skipped pictures on a few plants today. I will get them in when they have more to show. Thank you all for your kindness and stopping by. Peace :tiphat:

My apologies for the two blurry pictures of the Golden Tiger. I didn't want to delete them and screw up my list and have some improperly labeled plants. My job for the day cancelled so I may try to redeem myself later with clearer pictures of the Golden Tiger. Peace
