Thinking about making my own extraction tube out of 1.5" I.D. SS sanitary spool from glaciertank.com and have some questions.
So I came across a thread on another forum where a member made their own extraction tube from a 1.5" SS sanitary spool from glaciertanks.com and a few other parts by them.
The thread can be seen HERE
Now,I recall seeing GW say that a 1.5" x 24" column can fit about 150 grams of material.I'm looking to do 3 to 4 ounce runs so I'm assuming a 1.5" x 18" column/extraction tube,correct?
Also, later in the thread they recommend using a mouthpiece from a metal pipe/bowl as the entry point for the nozzle on the butane cans.Anyone know a better alternative, possibly from glaciertanks.com?
It's either that,or have a friend that blows glass make me a 38mm I.D. x 18" glass extraction tube.
GW...any input from you would be greatly appreciated!
I tend to break my nugs down off the stem, but not broken up or ground/cut up.
