I'm going to post this here so everyone can read this.

Myself and other Administration have spent a while reading the replies from certain people after California Proposition 19 was defeated. Needless to say, we aren't happy.

This site was started by Gypsy Nirvana with the purpose of hoping someday that people around the world could someday smoke and grow without fear of arrest. Lately it seems a few people have chosen to express tho opposite of this. After 19 failed I read comments such as "you lost get over it", we won, you lost", "WAAAAAAAAAA, stop being a crybaby and get over it", along with many other distasteful comments. The last straw came when I had a member ask me to remove his grow thread because he had upset one of the "no voters" and he feared retaliation.... I also read where people were wishing each other prison.

Our purpose is to teach people to grow and to someday hope everyone can grow and smoke without fear of arrest. The purpose is to also have fun and help one another.

If you don't agree with the purpose that Gypsy started this site for, that's ok. We understand that some people make a living from Cannabis. But what's not OK is you're spewing crap and taunting the members that have the same feelings as the Administration of this site. I have many good friends on this site that are commercial growers and I saw none of them taunting members after the elections. To be honest, the most of them voted yes even though they knew it could hurt them financially. I commend them for that.

Later today I now have to go through a half dozen threads and remove the immature taunting remarks made by certain people. If I were one of the ones that did the things I'm speaking about, I would beat me to it. We don't need that crap here nor are we going to condone it. You may want to keep things illegal. That's fine. But you're not going to use this site as your platform any longer.

We are going to take this site back to it's roots and this arguing, taunting and fighting is going to stop. One way or another......

Then we have this pleasurable little ditty from a PRO 19 voter.

I'd rather see and read the taunts, jeer,s we won you lost bs than I had ever want to see this posted here. Agreed?

Seems kinda tit for tat. Did someone get their feelings hurt? I thought we were adults here. So it's OK to be rude as long as you agree with the administration?
Wow political correctness and censorship rolled all into one convenient package. Lovely.
I'm ALL for legalization, or at the very least decriminalization but I believe Prop 19 was about $$$$$...not Liberty.

I agree, this arguing childish shit gets us nowhere. I am sick of it!

and I fully admit my asshole behavior lately, and today I make a choice! A choice to purposely and willfully be open and understanding of others opinions. Yep! You can no longer piss me off! That's right! I will listen and give feedback, and so should you! :D

We are all in this together, regardless of what or why you grow, what your beliefs are, what your growing methods and systems are, we all enjoy this hobby in some capacity, and we all may or may not be ignoring local and federal laws, because we love it so much, and we think and know, what we are doing, is right.

So for anyone I personally may have offended ever, im sorry! :D

(This is not in reference specifically to the prop 19 threads, this is in reference to ALL of the childish activities and insane arguments going on lately)

yes im stoned.

This site is called International Cannographic. Not California Cannographic. Our purpose is to teach people to grow and to someday hope everyone can grow and smoke without fear of arrest. Our purpose is not to hope that it stays illegal so people can continue to sell for a large profit. Is that understood?

We are going to take this site back to it's roots and this arguing, taunting and fighting is going to stop. One way or another......

:respect:

I agree 100% and wish you luck trying to stop these people.. they are persistent.

It all began in an era of xenophobia and over the new product called Nylon (from Dupont) back in 1937, giving credit to this craziness over false assumptions.

Dupont lobbied the government to eradicate hemp, in order (the real reason) to take over the market of ropes.

Mexican immigrants, African American, Jazz musicians, liberal thinking people were also accused of spreading reefer madness into the mostly white neighbors.

Hypocritical politicians went lengths to feed the American society with fear mongering speeches.

Today, we can still see the inheritance of those poorly informed people.

No. That wasn't right. But let me ask you this? Didn't Krunch make numerous posts when he found out the Bill failed? Comments such as "We won"? We didn't win. He won. This site endorsed legalization.

This isn't going to become a discussion on whether this site should allow this. It's to let people know we aren't going to continue with this seperation and all the fighting and arguing that goes along with it.

Yeah even I digressed a little bit on that thread. Not my usual style, but that's why I TRY never to talk about politics or religion.
This is why, people are passionate, and it just gets heated.
I do agree though, that this is a rare occurrence on this site and should be taken as that.
One bad day, of people acting badly over a hot topic.
It's all simmered down and we can get back to what we do.
I think it only really becomes a problem if the same person continues to violate the TOU.

This site wants legalization.

Amen!! I tried to keep civil throughout this...then I blew up into a childish pissed off tirade on Election night-- It can happen with any of us...the important thing now, is to move on, and see if we can all Unite for the next one!!!:ying:

I totally agree with you JJ, but in all fairness, politics can get heated.
As long as it doesn't continue going forward, can't we just leave the bad taste in our mouths and move on?

I'm disgusted by this person Bettysmith's remarks. If it is in fact a woman behind that kind of hatred, she's an embarrassment to women. There are a lot of people on both sides acting like fools. I couldn't believe some of the things I was reading yesterday. I chose to leave those threads alone and not even read them anymore. There's no productivity in them. The vote is over...the only thing left to do is keep on fighting for our rights in a peaceful manner.

About a month:) <--super excited!

I really hope that some of the arguments that have been flying for some time now over 19 don't lead to grudges... We're all roommates here, there shouldn't be that kind of heated fighting, I agree with JJ and Gypsy. This is a site for everyone that wants to learn how to grow...or just shoot the shit with people around the boards about weed...and life:)

Wisdom at its finest. I've already made a couple of formal apologies, and wished peace on some peeps that posted hateful comments towards me. (that always gets em.)

The biggest problem I have with this guy Krunchbubble is that he has "helped" people here.

He has "helped" the site.

I come here for "help".

And I find someone crusading to keep my lifestyle in the shadows.

He can have an opinion, and he can have a vote.

But this isn't really the place to be publicly broadcasting your support of cannabis prohibition.

...I mean... if this is the place to be publicly broadcasting your support of cannabis prohibition, I don't really enjoy being here.
