Well...I feel like an idiot. I read this thread and picked something that I wanted up at the boo....On the way out, I also picked up a pack of DP DP instead of DP PP...You can no do redo. Anybody wannit, just holla--you can be the proud new owner. Peace.

oh i feel sorry fopr ya man.

Their durban sucks ass , i got approx 10 grams from a friend of mine. Aroms is good and resembles passion nr 1 a bit.

But after 4 grams i was sick and tired of it.

So sick and tired in fact , that i went to my guerilla spot and pulled the DP plant out of the soil and put a frisian dew instead

Spewin, I have a pack of DP's PP feminised and now I hear they are prone to hermie....... f%#k! I was planning on growing them out at the same time as some sour diesel IBL or maybe a special Aussie Sativa a friend gave me then pollinate the PP's with the longer flowering SD IBL and the SAT I have. I was aiming to grow out as many of the resulting seeds as possible then select for plants that display the special traits of their fathers aswell as the yield and speed of flower the PP may offer then inbreed from there but I dont want to introduce hermi genes that may rear their heads in later offspring. It'd suck to have a really nice line spoiled by recessive hermi genetics... I'm still gonna try though..

I´ve grown DPs PP a few times, I got the cuts from a friends mother plant.
The pheno I had was great for indoor: not very stretchy, thick branches, huge buds on the tops with huge calyxes and a lot of trichs. Smell was strong but sweet, and the hi was very energetic.
I wish I could get my hands on one of those cuts again.
Very nice strain, I totally recommend it.

P.d. Never tried Nirvanas ppp and I never will... lol

I have done five runs (10 seeds per time) with Nirvana's PPP. I liked it each time. Great day-time buzz for me. I feel energetic & happy when I smoke this stuff. The yield is as good as I have had from any plant. I just received 5 PPP freebies from seedboutique & can't wait to grow these out.

How would the yield on DP's PP compare to say AK-47 or Chronic? Alot smaller or just a bit less than the AK and Chronic.

I ran DP PP fem and it only hermied when it stressed badly, I.E. like a medium or pot that is too small.. But otherwise very great yields and scent!

Just got my P3 freebie pack in the mail today with my Sensi Star order. Excited as this will balance out my garden with a solid Sativa. Sad to hear it stinks up apartments

Interesting that the two are not related either. About 10 years ago I remember looking at PP on Gypsy's site and thinking "This is the plant for me!". Now of course there are so many other Sativas, and I really had no experience at the time, so I'm glad I'll be growing out this non-related sativa with more experience under my belt

movingtarget that picture is awesome... i got 3 ppp females at about day 25 of 12/12 now adn theyre just starting to pack it on quick... so far outta the seven strains i have in my flwoer room this go round they seem to be bulking up the fastest even though several of the other strains are supposed to finish weeks earlier than the PPP... awesome thread guys ill be back in a couple weeks with some pics

Brazilian fire... do you think the DP version could be run without a carbon scrubber? they'll be in a tent with a 600W and cpl of 130W flouros. I'vr grown out C99 and didn't need to run a carbon filter, are the aromas similar? as in they don't smell like pot?

no i am sorry mate , but this one(or most phenos) have a very pungent smell. It was the smelliest plant in my greenhouse and it already smelled a lot when in veg.

So yeah she does smell a LOT like pot.

Nirvana's power plant x skunk cross doesn't smell as much as power plant from dutch passion

Hey i got 5 freep's ppp just under a week in 12/12... They had a 5wk veg... They were all the tallest, with my true blues flowering on the right, which had a 3 week veg only however 24hrs ago the true blues took over height wise!! Believe that.

So whats with the freep version, i heard its the nirv cut x widdow? And possibly other stuff.

They smelt proper skunky in veg after a week! Now all i can smell is blueberry lol sorry

I hope they stop stretching @ all ten plants! Im running out of space height wise sadly, didnt take any cuts like a twat i got an empty table on the left.

These are under 600whps and 400wmh

Nice smoke, easy to grow, good yield nice smell. Worth growing. I still like other things more. Like some haze hybrids i grew at the same time, less body and more up high than ppp. PPP is less racy and easier high. Good for meeting friends, my favourite pheno had more stone but was stronger. Cloned it and growing again.
