Sour Diesel is VERY easy to trim. Chemdog also. I can't believe anyone would say to stay away from these plants because they are difficult to trim. That's just ridiculous. Perhaps you may think that is the case if you have a fake sour diesel you got from a pack of seeds. I have the real cut of both and they are both a breeze to trim.
On the other hand, I have also grown out GHS SLH, Lemon Skunk, and Exodus Cheese. Lemon Skunk was not bad, but give me a break. Cheese? The very top reason for me never wanting to grow that plant again is because of the pain in the ass it was to trim. And the tiny ass yields. That is one leafy bitch. DO NOT get GHS cheese if you want a plant that is a breeze to trim.
GHS Cheese not GHS Exodus Cheese...The cheese yields just as much as chemdog and the ECSD and smell and looks fantastic. Look I have no axe to grind I call GHS on their shit I encounter and call it like it is when it is damn good and solid. Grown out well over 50 fems of this and SLH with 30 or so LSK and the majority were all easier to trim than 5 packs of Chemdog IBL, 2 Chemdog BX2, and a couple SD IBL packs. All reservoir and clearly legitimate.
I don't need to grow the ECSD cut to be able to tell quite a few of my phenos look identical to it and ECSD is no where near as easy to trim as well bred skunk or afghan or many others...like the ones I listed. There are many threads on here of highly detailed professional level pictures of verified ECSD as well some even doing comparison of REZ's IBL to Sour D and it is damn near identical (crazycomposers thread if you are interested). The ECSD in every picture is fallen down all over the place, tied up to the ceiling, needs tomato cage, or heavily staked, or as I do it one stake and however many 12 zip ties need to tie the colas to the stake. I don't think the hundreds of verified pictures by reputed breeders and moderators on these forums are of fake ECSD much less Rez beans being fake SD...
Love my current pack of sour D and the previous ones, but in my experience there is much easier to trim...I would never avoid this strain for any reason it is world class, but I can't say it is easier too trim than others when I make my comparison from my experience.
