do some people not get high off sativas?

i say this because i recently got some very sativa dominate flowers from the smell, taste and structure i believe them to be almost pure thai if not pure thai. The smell ranges from spicy citrus fruits to a few other fruits im not sure of and very light fine tobacco with hints of anise. these buds are not dense one bit extremely airy with medium to large calyx with shinny oily resin heads. theyre little leafy but hey this is a sativa and its soooo smooth u can take the huggest rips of this stuff. The flavor is a light transfer of the smell.

THe high is where I thought it really stands out. im so bored with generic indica highs these days just being tired all the time from serious session. the high really energetic,up, clean motivating and lil trippy at times if u over do it. the effect that just kept me going.

well i smoked this stuff with a few people and some really like it the ones that know about sativas and have smoked them before. then a few friends that are not familair with sativas or there effects one bit and they say they did not get high whatsoever. one guy actually was kinda of pissed with me. wtf

do only some people feel the goodness that sativas offer or r these few people that didn't feel the effects just don't understand the high or just don't feel it.

The highs from sativas are what a lot of us old timers started off with. I personally find them more exciting than indicas. You can get sativa shit weed or something that will have you soaring just like anything else out there.

yea defently weedies i got this from an oldtimer that basically only puffs sativas and yea much more exciting and thought provoking than indicas. althouught idont mind an indica before bed.

shred420 that seems to be the case and is what i suspected. this shit has zero body to it but its got a whole lot of head. personally i feel every hit go to my head and increase the high just little more thats why my mouth dropped when they said they didnt get high. i guess its indica world we live inthese days and the effects of sativas are no longer appreaciated sadly

I think for some Indica fans, standard sativas wont ring the bell.

There are however those sativas that...well...it really doesnt matter who smokes it, they will be very medicated and intoxicated with clearly defined effects. They just may not like the effects. If folks are used to being glued to the couch, and then they surprisingly start to soar through the sky or the roof of their home with their mind turning inside out...they will "feel it".

Everyone is different and not all weed is created equal.

I would have asked him for a bud or hit of what gets him high. You can smoke a lot of indica body-stone weed. I had a pheno of Bog's Sour Bubble that got me so high I started to get paranoid. So maybe he had some better weed. Some sativa's aren't all that strong and some are mind bending.

You have to compare the two....

ive been smokeing daily for about for about 15 years, and have smoked a few varieties of weed.
some sativa and indica.
i cant say ive got 'high' in the last year, just a melow stonned .
maybe i confuse stonned with something else, but im constantly searching for that high buzzy feeling with the giggles.
That is why ive decided to grow my own, which i have found just as much an addiction as smokeing weed.

My wife is the same, do you smoke so much then it has little effect?
like a tollerance?

Maybe ill go roll one up and think before i speak?

In my opinion I think those people just do not recognize the high since its so different than your typical black market buds. Everyone is assuming bud will get you hungry, sleepy, and lazy when in fact there are so many different varieties of highs.
