I tried to fix a little net pot on a piece of plastic to see if it works and in how much time it dries.
Is aquarium silicon safe for plants?

well done nor. this project sound good homie, sure you filled up nicely everything.. as usual in all your work...
about the stranger discoloration up the c99 i think is nothing serious or bad thing, this happen also to my fast nevilles if i remenber good from born stage than after 1 month i don't see more stranger color or different and plant look healthy like other..also up the white rhino few grow before i find the same story and nothing also...
so im in for this such an a efficient grow, keep it up grower!!!

Your plants are looking great, I'm really envious of the strains you have going there!

So I've looked into a couple (Sikasil WS-621) of the locally available aquarium safe silicones, and things aren't looking too good re. the setting times;

From Selly; For aquariums, allow the product to fully cure for 7 days. Prior to usage, throughly wash out with water, drain and refill before introducing fish. Suitable for constructing and repairing small aquariums. Specialist design required for large tanks. Contact SELLEYS if unsure.

Can't find anything on the Sika page regarding set times, what brand product did you try out? TTK

"I don't know where to buy a float valve...where I should look for guys?"

Try premeium aquatics, they sell stuff for salt water fish tanks. They have float valves.
They have a web site to shop from.
Sorry if i missed someone else posting for this for you.
(is it ok to post other web stores?)
Guess we'll see.

Hey killer
You'd be right on C99.This strange discoloration is something related with genetics and should be not an issue ;)

I bought a tube of SARATOGA silicone, but I need to check wich one...I'll give more info soon.
However I think I'll go without the filter this run, because I haven't time to let the silicone dry well.My fear is only about plants health...
If the NYCDxBB will be a male I should have the possibility to fix the screen to the other buckets, one at time...

Nice setup,lookin good BTW!

Thank you Nitelife, but I'm european and it's a pain in the ass to shop oversea.I think everyone has a float valve in its own wc.I should be able to find one of those locally and usi it in my controller.
However...if someone has a suggest on this topic...feel free to tell me :)

Ganja nice to see you here.Take a chair and enjoy, you'll see good buds in a month :D

Hey nr, not to worry! I'm sure it'll all be fine and soon you'll have some awesome buds, new setups are always a learning experience and as you would know well, no matter how much other people tell you, you will soon know what changes you want to make for next time round! I'm sure you'd be able to find a float valve easily, as you said the wc has one and they sometimes need replacement, so maybe a hardware store, plumbing supplier, maybe a water tank supplier, or agricultural supplier (animal/cattle water supplies have them too).... TTK

I was thinking that maybe I will not take a real advantage of using a reservoir.I will have not holidays for a while so I can check my stuff everyday and add a little of water if needed...will see

I kept pH around 5.8 and I discover the kushage don't like it so much...probably it did absorb many N and a little K showing some slow growth. After lowered pH things seems to go fine for kushage too.

Notice the roots, they are so few without secondary branches (this plant born some days later than the others btw)

The grapefruits are growing fine without troubles. They are very similar and seem to be compact plants.Short internodes and petioles.Every day, just some hours before the lights go down, these plants show droopy leaves. Both plants. After 6 hours of dark they're up again, ready to take as much light as they can.
I know this is a common thing for plants, but I just don't realize why.Is that something saying : ''that's enough light for me,now I want to sleep'' ?

The firsts two pics are from the same GP plant taken at 60 hours one from the other.

This plant is fat :D It doesn't have more internodes or leaves, but everything is a little bigger than others.Roots are growing very nice too.I hope its being so big it's not related to its sex...I'm praying for a lady :D

This one is a little chemdogDD (thanks Jare)

C99 was moved in an airpot. It's a strange plant...but it grow nice and fat.

Parameters:

Air Temp : around 20°C
Water temp : 19.5° - 20.5°C
pH : 5.5
Ec : 0,8 (it decrease a bit in these days.Sign that plant are consuming more nutrients than water :) )
Co2: 500 - 800

picture.php

The water in the controller is perfectly clear

picture.php

I mounted the CO2 monitor near two fans. This allow me to read every time the right value, being sure there is a lot of air in movement around it.

That's the stuffs I'm using

Welcome to all of you growers :blowbubbles:
Keep watching this thread, from today I switched to 12\12 :dance013:

Parameters:

Air temp : 21,5° nighttime - 21,5 - 24,5° daytime
Water temp : around 21°C
RH : 58% - 73%
Ec : 1 mS/cm
pH : 5.5 - 5.6

Plants have trouble with something.I think it's Calcium, due to the low content of my tap water.Nothing really serious but I hope to find a solution soon,so I'm adding Ca and Mg in the rez to be sure plant will not have a lack of these elements.

picture.php

NYCDxBB

A couple of leaves show some burns but this plant is really vigorous and it's growing nice.
