Hi! 1st time poster, long time time lurker here. To start things off right, here's a question for you.
What is the difference between hemp and pot?
I was just reading the latest on NORML
http://blog.norml.org/2011/04/06/ask-norml-hemp-for-victory/
and it reffered to hemp as, "marijuana’s non-psychoactive sister".
I know that hemp, the fiber, cannot get you high. If you were growing hemp, you'd harvest well before the budding started.
If you were to grow industrial hemp, and allow the plant to flower, would it start to produce psychoactive ingredients?
I believe this nuance is glossed over by hemp activists, trying to make hemp seem even more amazing than it already is. (Hard to do...)
I know the popular belief is that hemp can't get you high. Do you have any annecdotal evidence of this? Does anyone know of a chem analysis of a hemp bud? Have you smoked hemp buds?
