Curling and twisting seedling leaves. Help.

Funny I've revisited this recently. Ive gone back to sunshine#4 for seedlings and fledgling clones. No nutes but excellent h2o management.

transitioned all 5 to gallon pots. Thinking it was over watering. moved at 12 days from sprout and all had root balls forming. Only worried about one of them now.

Thinking I may agree about my lights being too close. Im at 15 days and my tallest plant is 3 inches, sprouting its 5th node...

I had a similar promlem with leaves curling up early on... this is my first grow as well

1200 watt LED at 30" above plants

3 whitewalkerkush DNA genetics feminized
2 either Huckleberry or GG i accidentally mixed them up lol (sex unknown) leaves curled up worse than WWK's

4 week Cheese clone (only plant that leaves are fine)

I finally got an accurite today and my temps in my closet are 86-89 light on

66-70l" light off (heat in apartment gets turned off at night)


Humidity was reading 20% - 23% which didn't seem right for how warm it is in my room and closet..... My 48x32x63 Grow tent was ordered today arrives Tuesday!


Should I get a humidifier when my tent arrives??

Is that because the older LED's use a more wide variety of colors?? I am going to buy LED's soon, but will only be 3500K. They will be Bridgelux Vero 29 Gen 7's.

Im sorry, what? my problem was definitely from overwatering. Super low chance of cal mag deficiency given the fact that im using hard water and my soil has dolomite lime added to it.

At day 19 right now, all 5 at different stages but looking strong, topped 1 and FIMed another. Trying to find the sweet spot on watering right now. ~72degrees, 50% humidity, ~6inches tall, 3 gallon pots. Im thinking about once every 2-3 days but Im a tinkerer and I have to break that habit.

I finally got my Grow tent yesterday adjusted my 1200wLED light to 28" over the 7 day olds n 22"
Over 3 week with roots Cheese clone

My temps were in high 80s with low 20s humidity in my closet for a week and past 24 hours in tent have been 78-82 degrees n 40-50% humidity

Haven't watered young ones in 48 hours and they look all look waaaayyyy better today !

Mine recovered think it was high temps when they were young but since I got my Grow tent..and kept Humdity Between 30-60 and temps between 70-80 at all times, they look a lot healthier grew way quicker too

Werds that's what I'm looking to do too they look good... I think yours are in a spare bathtub/shower, mine are in a 48x32x63" tent and I only have 5 feet of room in there so I gotta prep for vertical stretch

I topped all mine at day 13 except one of my white walker kush ... I wanna try and expirement and leave it untopped and not trained only take a clone off it and then flip to flower at 1 month of veg

Yes, Im using my spare shower. So happy I invested the 5$ in locking pulleys so I could adjust my lights every day. Im keeping them at 8" from canopy and they grow about an inch every 3 days. Going to switch to flower on day 33 if they keep up with this because I cant let them get more than 3 feet at full stretch, hence the bushy topping/FIMs. 1 in the back has 4 colas and the other in the back has 3 colas.

This seedling has twisted leaves and one missing. The surprise was the second set has the missing leaf. The hull got stuck in the soil and ripped off early is what I blamed the first twisted set on but then the second set grew only one side and it was twisted as well.

Still waiting on the third set, I worry they may not show at all. But a few days will tell.

Hijacking this tread a little, as I'm a bit worried about my early grow as well. These light dots appeared yesterday, and not sure if the soil is to hot or I just overwatered as well. Any help is appreciated

Dossing, need more info to give an opinion. What kind of soil? Water source? Type of pot? How much did you water?

Here's an update on my plants at day 32. Cut some lower fan leaves and added a second 350 since I'm going to veg them for 2 months before flower. Feel like my leaves are a little too droopy, and had a little nutrient burn show on day 29.

Plants rearranged under new lights w/ lights in photo for distance. Not sure if my lights are ever too close or too far. Currently 12" away. Day 33.

Here's the bonus info:

• Soil: Speedgrow LightMix w. perlite
• Strain: Blueberry Bliss auto fem, Vision seeds
• W.Source: Tap water, around ph 8
• Watering: Not sure, but nothing for a day or two. still moist.
• Nutes: BioBizz Grow 1.5ml/L
• Lights: 2700-6500 K - 20/4hr

Looks like it's getting a little worse, and second set of leaves are a little scrunched up. But might just be first grow nerves

My tap water PH starts at 6.8 ... 8 is high def measure it with a meter after u put you nutrients in the water... also I feed just water to seedlings in first week prob only need to water each seedling about once every 2-3 days as long as Humdity is over 50 and temp is between 78-84 your should be good once they are a week or more old I will have water with my nutes at 30% (FloraNova) and only water every 2 days some don't drink much I have a 3 week old Huckleberry that I have watered once this week and looks healthy ..... if temp is over about 86 degrees after a week old one the leaves will curl.... water once about every 3 days and let coco or soil dry out and you'll be fine
