So, I just harvested recently. Took'em down and trimmed them up real nice into smaller buds and took all the fan leaves and trim off and everything off actually except for the bud. They've been drying now for 5 days and the stems aren't quite snapping yet but some are starting too.
I was planning on putting them all in mason jars and sweating them out for the cure until they're just perfect, but...
Now, I have to leave for 4 days and I'm wondering what the best way to preserve these babies without degrading aroma or potency and taste is. From what I've been studying my drying room is a perfect environment for drying btw (70F and 50% RH and totally dark)
I'm new at this so I could really use some help...
Should I:
A) leave them to dry on the screens for 4 more days and then just rehydrate them when i get back by adding some bread or something moist along with the buds inside of an air tight container?
B) Put all the buds in an air tight container right before I leave (like a mason jar for example) and then put them in the fridge?
C) Other suggestions?
