Hey guys, I found some mustard in the fridge....Im sure it has something in it thats the same thing used for plants? Should I try it?
Had a crazy idea today can coca cola be used as ph down i did a test in a 20L bucket and got the ph down to 6 with 5 cap fulls am i insane
Could all that sugar be good for the plant?
lol.You are the worst ball buster ever, your not even good at it. I would put you on ignore, like many others, but i like a good laugh.
Ed's not recommending adding carbonation to the substrate, your quotation of me and subsequent blurb is irrelevant in a thread about soda's potential benefit to subtrates. And FWIW Ed Rosenthal doesnt know shit, he just writes about other peoples gardens.
What, you couldnt find a vanilla extract reference?
maybe, try vinegar....chem formula in post 39 of this thred...Lazyman said:Ph down is expensive
I dont know why ive been arguing, you are both correct, plants benefit from humans spending 100X on them than they should. (this is AN's business model), and plants benefit from fake rootbeer, because the vanilla extract and K are in very minute quantities. Sure this application is 100X more expensive than even what a growshop would offer, but its a good idea.
Ed knows All, writing about gardening is a substitute for actually gardening, as there is no such thing as first hand knowledge.
Carbonated water is used throughout the horticultural industry as an accepted way of raising CO2 levels. Its not the type of suedo-science-bullshit obviously based on garbage science, that a non grower, yet prolific writer, (like Ed) would end up perpetuating. There are many many many legitimate horticulturalist who spray there plants with carbonated water.
Perhaps you mean they spray their plants with C 0 2, because that is what you always type. I dont know what C Zero Two is, maybe you are right. Then again maybe you are getting Zero Oxygen as you continue to make the same mistake.
