I am not an advocate of the Covid vaccine, nor am I an anti-vaxer. Herd immunity can have an extreme cost. I reckon the First Nations people were extremely healthy with a great diet when the Europeans brought new viral diseases to them.

the very definition of herd immunity - the invaders had it and the indigenous earned it, though some died. the viruses were not a problem among the invaders. adapt or die.

Part of that adaption has been to develop vaccines, which we have done for many diseases.

I'd prefer to be vaccinated than get really sick or die. That goes double for my loved ones. It's all very well to preach adapt or die if neither you or your loved ones are threatened.

What you quoted is different to what you say here. I thought you said; "I educate myself through research papers and intelligent articles from specialists" yet you quote wiki? How about some actual research papers from specialists?
Using wikipedia for a dictionary for the uneducated is perfectly fine, thanks. lolol

Yes, but what you did was quote from the wiki page on myocarditis, and then put your own spin on it, implying that the vaccine caused people to die from this, which is incredibly rare, if it in fact happens.

So, no, changing the meaning is not perfectly fine imo.

i think at that level, it does get down to the DNA and epigenetics. that is, some people die. but eating good food and doing exercise - both aerobic and strength training - maximizes the body's ability to adapt and NOT die. but shit happens.

my preference is to live in my environment without doing drugs. and i have found at age 74 how to do that. if i die, then i die. the only way to stop being disappointed at how little on my project list gets done, that i really, really want to get accomplished - is to die. in the words of the greatest warrior of all time - "W" - bring it on.

excess deaths (paraphrasing) ... take the average deaths per year over the last 5 years and see how that compares to this year.

clearly the jab has reduced all cause mortality and excess deaths from 2020 (maximum covid) to 2021 (maximum jabs). hurray! if you can trust the CDC ... because, when have they ever lied?

There's that reading comprehension thing again. Too many syllables? How about "You have a weak ability to understand what you are reading."

I translated the article to plain english, the article above my previous post which you obviously did not read, and then used a quote from wikipedia to explain myocarditis to those who are unfamiliar with it.

It pays to increase your reading comprehension.

Is there a variance for population growth or immigration?
generally. can be sliced and diced any number of ways. those kinds of variables are generally minor if there is a major safety signal evident - like 20% excess deaths in a given year. probably a war, plague or asteroid impact, rather than births and migration.

Yeah, it's not about changing his mind, but more about a counter argument for others.
I appreciate your positive view of humanity. Mine is that if you believe dumb shit then dumb shit should happen to you, you can learn from that (evolve) or you cannot (regress). If some dumb ass reads Doug’s posts and listens to them he deserves to get sick. Survival of the fittest is adaptive intelligence, not just physical strength.

i wouldn't say that he "deserves" to get sick, but his odds sure jump up there...:(
