I did a veg cabinet for my moms and clones today supplies from wal-mart or any similar store .
The ONLY wiring you do is TWO wire nuts , that's it . Rest is plug and play .
BTW that 3 prong adapter was just on there so I wouldn't use it on a repair job . I do not use 3 prong adapters
supplies
1 old or buy a ceramic space heater for exhaust fan .only 15$ new
2- wire nuts and electrical tape
1 -space blanket
2-black trash bags .
1 -timer
1 tape
1- 3 outlet extension cord
1- timer
2 -45 cfl bulbs or more if you like .
2- clip on shop lights as light sockets .you take of the clip and shade and just use the socket and cord . I hang them vertical style with moms to the left and right of the lights and clones under them.
1 -old cabinet or scrap wood u frame up .
I used a OLD ceramic heater the 1000/1500 type model and took it apart for the fan .Its very easy only four screws and snip the two leads to the fan and snap off the ceramic core . U want just the fan out of it and the two wires coming out of the fan .
I then use the cord it came with and strip the wires and use wire nuts to secure the two wires .
you can see how easy it is to wire up .^
out of one of these
before I mount anything I hang up the emergency blanket on the walls .
then cut a simple square hole for the exhaust fan
the mesh is from the heater also .
then I hand the light sockets and cords already attached with simple eye hooks screwed in the ceiling . I tie a loose knot in the lamp cords and hand that loop on the hook screws .or youse the para cord like shown .
make your intake flap some place on the bottom as shown below .
there is a piece of wood in the front of the cabinet in the middle going length wise so the negative pressure wont suck the door flap in .I then tape the bottom of the door flap to a piece of wood the width of the door .this piece of wood hold the trash bag and space blanket in place .I tape black trash bags over the space blanket door to make it more durable . You don't want a fire so none of my walls suck in at all .
and the wood and door flap
then I put my plants in
