hey guys, finally thinking about setting up an appointment to get my med card.

My friend and I are planning to go next week. I was just wondering if he could sign me off as his caregiver and vice versa while at the dr. Or is this something we can just do at home and mail in?

I made it to my 1o'clock appt. @ 1258 after a 63 mile trek through Denver. Would've been a little earlier if there wasn't an accident on the opposite side of I-25 drawing rubber-neckers.
Any how, I did drive past the place and after a u-turn turned into the lot of the Next building, so...I guess I wasted a few in my search as well.
The building is an inconspicuous looking structure that looks like possibly an older ranch style home or even a dentist office. Anyhow, the driveway is kinda narrow but opened up to probably 10-15 parking spots, off-street, behind the building. I looked at the exterior and there were cameras, but it didn't look overdid or nothing. After ringing the bell I was let in, time 1258.
The dude who let me in was cool and asked me to sign in before handing me a clipboard with all the appropriate documents. I sit down with my ol' lady and there is one other guy in the process. I actually finished before the dude, but they still let that guy into the doc before me, which is alright, I guess.
I sit there and flip through the Westword as I listen to Mike and his associates talking about the CANNAMED RAID.
(My opinion on that is GREAT, GET RID OF THE FUCKING CROOKS!! ALL OF THEM! I read that CANAMED is associated with Russian Mafia which is right online with all the student bullshit above.)
My brother got his paperwork from there, as did my friend that is helping me out in my sig. link. Check this out....
BOTH OF THEM HAD MEDICAL RECORDS AND WERE CHARGED $200!

TODAY, I HAD MY MEDICAL RECORDS WITH ME>>>>$100 BUX!

Sorry 'bout the broken posts, I've had a helluva time trying to get my review up here.
Phone a few times, doorbell, a full rack of originals from Chilis.
Things have chilled a bit so I am back at it.

...so let's see, that's right, flippin' through the Westword. Have any of you locals peeped that lately? Been awhile since I had picked one up, but I need to..
dude finishes up and I get let into the doc's office.
The doc reviews my records and does an examination on me to verify my condition which all told, is about 20 minutes. I would say that it was comparable to a "Physical" but had more questions about general health and my disease.
I tell the doc that I want my allowance to be raised because I believe that my usage exceeds what the regulations call for.
The doc tells me that I will have to talk to the Owner's.....which I do**.
I get out of the doc's office and the time is 1345.
I come out to the lobby area where I am greeted by, and then walk back with Howard to his office. We handle the initial bizness of the $100 and then we begin to chat as I check out the strains available. I mention ICMag and continue talking about strains before I realize he doesn't recognize me as MarshMello.
I continue to scan the jars and he directs me to the "Fruitiest" strain they have because that's how I roll. It turns out to be "Sweet Island"...it was on the higher end of the strain costs which varied from 10 to 27.
I snatched an 1/8th.
I asked which was the strongest of the Indica's that didn't smell like fuel or cheese....he gave me a couple different choices out of which I went with the "Gooie Maui", same. (This is also where I took my free .5g)
About this time I tell him that I am MarshMello from ICMag: "Ohhhh Right On!...do you mind if I go and get Mike?"
Me: "Nah go and let him know I'm here, I want to meet him."
He goes out and grabs Mike who comes into the office and I end up spending another 15 minutes asking questions and checking out the edibles.
I end up grabbing a 20pk of the Cinnamon candies. Mike offered me up one as I was asking about them and I liked it so....we talk about the MMJ scene, obviously CANNAMED, the way GRNMTN is being piped by VENDORS and a few other things.
I end up spending a total of $100 for my Doc. $136 on Meds.
Mike also hooked me up with a few goodies so that was cool.

**As far as the Recommendation being above CO Guidelines**

I asked Howard and he said: "When you get your card, you can come back and we will get that changed. The Doc that did your rec. is a new doctor to our facility and is still kind of hesitant with the overage rec's."
Me: "Well that's bullshit, you want me to come back and pay the fee to see another doc??"
Howard: " We won't charge you to get that changed..."
Mike: "This Doc has an appointment with the Lawyers today so that he get's a better understanding of the laws concerning overages."
Me: "Well as long as I know you ain't going to try and charge me again..."
Mike: "I give you my word that when your card has arrived, I will set you an appointment with a Doc and we will have this addressed at no charge to you."
Me: "Right On."

And so.....

Would I recommend Green Mountain Care to my fellow MMJ Patients in Colorado?

100%.

I didn't like the "overages" deal, but I recognize that the MMJ Scene here is young....I wanted to be Registered and look for yourself above....
I stated who I was, what I was doing, and where I was going.
In a matter of ONE DAY, I took my records and was Registered.
For Green Mtn to have an "On-Site" Doc that handled my case so quickly and efficiently was fucking awesome.....I have no reason to doubt what Mike and Howard told me.
They delivered the claims that they made to me over the phone as well as here in the forum. They were SOLID in my personal opinion.
So again...."Would I recommend?"......
I already have.
Multiple Times.
......and I will continue to do so.

Yes, I did.
I felt totally comfortable with signing them over.
I also asked Howard about changing care-givers and he explained what I already knew.

Download the form, fill it out, get it Notarized, Registered Mail(optional), DONE.
No Fees or anything else.
I would suggest making THREE copies to be Notarized myself....
One for Me, One for Caregiver, One for State.

They are down off of Santa Fe & Prince, just south of Belleview.
Turn EAST onto Prince off of Santa Fe and they are about 1/2 blk dwn on the right, right before a StateFarm office that is 2 stories...just before that bldg., a rancher.

As far as the 1/8th...I don't know what you like...I can't compare the 2 I got against each other until I get a 1st high of the day....add to that, I got 1 Sat & 1 Indie, so.....I do like the "Sweet Island"....the "Gooie"? Report coming.

my guess even the lower grade is prob real decent and prob only 30-40 an 1/8 i have bought topqual that has done nothing for me and brickweed that has got me toasted. even 60 for a 4.5 grm 1/8 aint that bad
