Thank you. Along that line, is a plant pre-disposed to make a certain amount of CBG and THC? So, is it actually counter-productive to train the plants, thinning out the vital ingredients, or will the plant produce more, relative to its number of buds?

Thanks to anyone with knowledge and insight to share.

Peace and healthy green hugs,

ha, im a noob and still learning myself.
i wonder if any dispensaries offer any 'learn to grow' services.

might want to try calling around to your local shops and see if they offer it.

Check out Otoke Horticulture (otokehort.com). The woman that runs it is one of the top horticulturalists in the state.

Specialty crop consulting and classes.

Her expertise covers the whole range and includes greenhouse management, biological controls, disease, etc.

They have a solid reputation. -Joe

Don't we usually get what we pay for?

Well - it's kinda like this.... If you shop at some dispensarys, ya get half assed weed, that they kief the hell out of and charge you extra. Some caregivers treat their customers a LOT better.

So I'd have to say not exactly.
A fool and his money are soon parted

I've never taken a "class", but lord Jesus, have I been to school!.

Here we go...I have decided to ask y'all for your input, in celebration of my 50th post. ;}

The best place I found in this condo is a bedroom closet. I have a GP Powergrower that a friend didn't like and gave to me. It is lit by a 400w MH. An oscillating fan keeps the air moving during the night.

Okay, so I still need things, but I really don't like to buy things twice, and from what I have seen, you people really know more than your weight in gold....so...please tell me what to get, and I'll go shopping...

Thank you all so very, very much for your words and pictures. I now know enough to really get myself into trouble! lol Thank you for any suggestions you have.

Can someone please tell me where the Rocky Mountain Cannabis Convention and Wellness Expo is taking place today? It just doesn't seem right to be able to tell us it's happening, while not being able to tell us where to go. I need to learn!

You don't even have to donate, just buy some seeds from seedboutique and support the site and its contributors....

Peace and healthy green hugs,

Google will tell you where to find the expo you are looking for and please start quoting the person you are replying too. Your posts are very hard to follow if we have absolutely no idea what you are talking about:ying::thank you:

Oh, a quick question. My babies are now in Jiffy peat pots. What do I need to do to get them transplanted into my drip system with hydroton? Thank you. B.

You should be able to directly transplant the pots into the hydroton. When I transplant, I like to use Mycorrhizae, you can get it commercially at your local hydro store. I believe the GH product is called Sub-M. Basically just dredge the root zone of the peat pot before you transplant into the hydroton. Make sure not to transplant to deep, as that could cause problems like rot. Top feed for the first few days until the roots dig to the bottom of your basket and you should be green:D

ETA: this is my 420th post, smoke weed!!!

Rocky,

Quoting self: Don't we usually get what we pay for?

Here, I meant that the synthetic nutes are considerably cheaper than organic ones, but organic is worth the additional cost because, as we all know, nobody has nature's exact recipe for anything!

If the guano ain't broke, don't fix it!

Thank you for your patience, and have a peaceful, healthy green hug on me!

See that?

That's a qoute

don't be gettin all fookin huggie on us,,, err me.

I talked with my garden - and they tell me anabolic steroids have made some of the finest examples of human atheletes the world has known,,, and to the girls - it makes no difference as long as the meals contain the required building blocks. -

Organic is nice - but there are "synthetic" gardens that you would kill to get a sample of, so try to keep that in mind. I kinda think a good grower knows both sides.

And there is more to organics than a bag or two of bat crap. I have used Seaweed for the growth hormones - and the piles of vitemans and good stuff - but it takes more

I used to read a lot of Soma's threads - he talks about "Listen to the plant - it will tell you what it wants"

I thought he was crazy.
Turns out,,, I wasn't listening well.

My advice to new growers.

go slow.
most plants that die are loved to death.

failure - is a possible outcome.
It's also a hella teacher.

There's lots of info available now that wasn't back when, so you should have it easy.

I did that a few weeks ago, and I d/l'ed Todd McCormick's book, too.

Thank you. I'm thirsty for knowledge, and just like I'd hoped, you are giving good suggestions and ideas.
