Hey everyone,
I would appreciate if someone can help me identify the issues I am having with my current grow.
Well my next grow will be 100% organic but currently I am using chemicals. Here are the details of my grow so hope someone can have an input.
Grow lights: A300 VIPAR
Nutrients: Hesi (and some molasses in between waterings)
Grow Medium: Soil
Pots: 60 liters custom made pots
Grow method: Scrog + CO2 (propane burning)
Plant strain: The Ultimate (Dutch Passion)
Day temps: ranging from 29 to 35C (summer time)
Night temps: 25-29C
Humidity: Day 60% to 75% without the dehumidifier / 50% with dehumidifier
Ph: 6.2 - 6.5
EC: N/A
Brix: 8
Plant problem: During vegetative stage which I am using 200W x2 CFLs, no plant issue was seen even though light penetration to the lower branches was not ideal.
Now I am in my second grow and I am experiencing the same problems when switching to flowering as the first grow. I understand that during flowing the plant loses it's leaves a bit but the rate of drooping is worrying me. Check the images below as they are of the current grow images.
I installed a scrog screen to the grow a bit late, so the plants didnt grow into the net, but they were carefully bend and tied down for as even light distribution.
Some leaves are yellowing below the screen and turning brown. The first thing that comes to my mind is that the leaves below the scrog are not receiving light and are yellowing. Yet I have cut and cleaned 80% of the unwanted branches but maybe I should clear 100% of the branches below the scrog. I would appreciate if LED growers can confirm that leaving anything below the scrog is pointless. Note that leaves above the scrog have no signs of deficiencies.
P.s: Some light penetration is going down because of the fan that moves the leaves which allows the light to penetrate.
Check pix and share your thoughts pls.
