This is a smoke report for Power Kush by Dinafem seeds.

RATING: I give this a 7 out of 10

FLOWERTIME AND STRUCTURE: I flowered her for 55 days total. As for structure , she was tall and lanky but nice buds.

APPEARANCE:Nice tight nugs, very orange in color due to all the red hairs.

YEILD: She was a good yeilder, I got about a ounce and a half of dried bud off the one plant

TASTE and SMOKE: It has a fruity taste to it, very enjoyable, no kush taste at all even though it is called Power Kush, I do not believe it has any kush in it. Very smooth to hit on, but do not take to big a hit, it does expand in the lungs.

OVERALL: I give it a 7 out of 10 overall, it was a easy plant to grow and good yeild, but wanted a little more flavor from her, keep in mind I only grew out 1 plant so I am sure there are other phenos, it was a great freebie plant, thanks Gypsy and the Seedbay cats.

Most of the new kush flavor these days comes from genetics that are pretty far from actual Hindu Kush from the Hindu Kush Mountain Range that runs though the tops of India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. most of the new ones are actually based off OG kush strains, which are based off of chem dog lines, and have a lot of mix in the genetics. Northern Afghani strains are much closer.

The real Kushes are generally more floral and fruity with a skunkiness, and slight spicey under tone after a month or so cure. I grew an old school purple kush cut, which is the closest I have grown or smoked to a pure kush and it is like I described above. Dankest kush too. It also only turns purple in the right conditions, but some can get the same cut darker than me. It gets darker out doors for sure, all pot does. I have smoked an old school orange Kush that was really close as well. that was some good pot too. You will know when you smoke a true kush because you wont build tolerance, and it is very powerful stuff.

good report and I hope I could clear up your confusion on the wierdness of Kushes. you cant usually lose with kush in the name though if you are a med patient, just because both categories are just great.

Thanks for the report, sounds pretty good, i got some as a freebie and 1 of the vegging plants looks very like a hindu kush plant even with that spicy hashy smell when i rub the stem, but im curious to see how it does in flower.

the pk yields quite well for me. the buds are just as dense on the bottom as the top which is great.

That bud reminds me a little of Skunk x Romulan, what was the high like? I love strains that creep up on your ass slowly and when you go to get up your ass is glued to your seat haha..
