I believe this is (often) due to the kittens mom being taken away too early. Can lead to all kinds of behavior problems.
Lol, last week we thought one of our cats, a 9-year-old little gentleman, was having an eye infection again... then I noticed that both eyes were equally red... he was drowsy... with a huge appetite. Gotta hide that stash better. But he enjoyed it!
all I did was ask her to get out of my chair........
