mine does the same thing, except he crouches just over half my lap and then flips over just like yours. he looks alot like yours as well, just slightly shorter hair

i have a sort of stray that just wants to eat and lie in the sun constantly, he is a big cat to be fair but must have cost 10k or something over the years in food,, the other stray that ended up with me is a killer,,
had siamese but they are so thick they just seem to sit in roads,,
looked after a stunning main coon cat not that long ago,, they are so calm and collected like a wildcat but lovely,, i'll probably always have cats but im a pack animal,,
