hi guys. i have 2 out of 5 plants in soil (promix) that had some over nut burn before.
picture.php

i flushed them a week ago. (all of them)
ph run off was around 6-7 ppm was around 300, temp around 65F
along use some cal-mag+, diamond nectar, sm90
i water today and noticed..
2 out of the 5 plants bucket still heavy (not eating) while the other 3 are hungry and ate up.

questions
#1. - now what could this be??? nutt lock? what can i do??
#2. - some of the burnt leaves, should i cut off only the burnt part (leaving half the leave like cloning or the whole leave?)

What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? vegetative
What Technique are you using? Hand watered soil
What substrate/medium are you using? Promix soil
What Nutrient's are you using? General hydroponics flora micro and bloom, Calmag+, diamond nectar, sm90, superthrive
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? 2ml flora micro and gro, 1ml flora bloom, per gallon and just use 0.5ml calmag+ last week
How often are you feeding? once twice a week
What order are you mixing your nutrients? Flora gro first, then micro then bloom, switch to just calmag+ on last water
What is the pH of the "Tank"? The pH is around 6.5
How often are you testing your pH/PPM/EC/TDS? I test pH everytime I mix nutes and ppm
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equipment? no
When was your last watering? last week
When was your last feeding change? yes, i just feed it water with calmag+ only
What size bulb are you using? 4 4" T5
How old is the bulbs you are using? less than 2 months
What is the distance to the canopy? approximately 12 inches
What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity) Hovers between 30 and 50%
What is the canopy temperature? Digital thermometer shows between 60-65 Fahrenheit
What is the Day/Night Temp? not sure??
What is the current Air Flow? sometime just a box fan
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? in a closet, next to open window
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? sometimes
Is your water HARD or SOFT? I use tap water ph around 8
If using RO,Distilled, mineral water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS without any additives? tap water ppm around 30-35
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched last few weeks ago
Are plant's infected with pest's yes spider mite a few weeks back

note: forgot to mention, they were in nute burnd a few weeks ago, i flushed them a week ago.

now my only question is, why is it that only these 2 smaller plants not eating when the other 3 bigger ones are completely dry out their pot?? and its been a week since i water......

few questions first....how large is the container they are in?
if you have a PPM meter and measure it how much PPM's do you give per feeding?
after the flush did you feed them again?

and airflow is't to good ether i suppose .......next to a window...do you have in and outlet??

ohw yea how much water you poor in the container? 1/2 liter...1-2 Liters, more?

They are in a 3 gal container
after the flush, the last thing i fed them was just water and calmag+ ppm around 100 i believe..

airflow isnt the best due to space. i do use a box fan sometime if its too hot in there.

and i believe i pour 3/4 of a liter when fed last week.

i know you could probably try miracle work, but those plants look like they're suffering from a scissor deficiency.

either that, or put a star on top and call it Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree.

this may sound wierd but i would say heat stress due to lack of air flow, get better air flow and your problem should clear up

i dont think they suffered from any scissor deficiency because the all the other 3 all heal back and much bushier
lol @ x-mas tree.

the temp in there is always around 60-65F. i will put my fan in there for the next few days and see what will happen.

i'll share my :2cents: again :)
there's a few things that you need to adres
first off you gotte get some decent airflow going....a in and outlet is very needed
if you poor to much water in the containers and they can't drain or vaporate fast enough, the plant will get stressed and ph will go out of control...but this is not my main concern....the problem is that you did't feed the plants after the flush....or trew a mild feeding back in....these girls are hungry plain and simple....combined with overwatering from that flush and no decent airflow to evaporate can give you these sympthons....
and i personally think you have a lockout due to these factors.
i now suggest to try and measure the mediums ph...Bcoz the medium could tell something diffrent .....but if that checks out she's just hungry

thanks core-
i will give that a try and get these girls evaporated and see how she looking in the next few days..
also.. from what you see in the photo, the top notes are growing in together like they are trying to flower. why they do that? stress? they are always under 18/6 light

ok mate but you gotte accuire the real ph lvl of the medium. and then you can work from there....then drying them out is a must....that is if you don't have ph issues but if not after that i suggest a nice 3/4 dose of feeding for'm

Is it possible plant #1 is suffering root rot? Kind of looks like it to me. How much run off do you get when you water them?

thats what i thought too, rot rot but cant lift out the whole plant to see the roots yet, soil still wet. either that or nutes lock
i flush 2 weeks ago, and just water plant #1 3 days ago, just enough water run off for me to stop watering. the bottom part of the branches look so weak and burnt.
im going to give it a few weeks to see if it heal it self.
if not just had to throw it away

If you say the temperatures are 60-65, thats definitely not heat stress. ...

I have seen this too many times and my method is hydro.
The way the leaves are curling and drying up...definitely looks like some ph issue/nutrient lockout going on.

Im currently experieincing that now, with the way your leaves are burned on the edges and the zinc like lockout coloration in some of the leaves......truly an indication of ph /lockout...

Regarding why the others are doing fine and these two are not....my only .02 is that some plants are able to sustain the shock and continue to grow out while others
my not be as strong.....
