I think for a lot of people it has more to do with free weed than genetics. Granted, this is ICmag and people in "the know" seem to be here more than elsewhere, but I think for a beginner grower (which is the type of person asking this sort of question) that growing bagseed should almost be mandatory. I see the risk in wasting some time and effort on risky, unknown seeds, but I see more risk in fucking up a fifty dollar pack of seeds on a first/early grow.
I personally amassed a collection of a couple hundred seeds from various shwaggy/mids that I've bought over the past couple years and am just poppin' them by the dozen and seeing who stays and who goes.
Also, if you look around on here, I have seen a lot of grows from bagseed that have turned out killer-diller.
IMO, at the end, even if you go through 20-30 seedlings, bagseed oughtta turn up something good just by the numbers, no?
Of course
