Hi growers, I have just to my horror discovered this on my plant, its formed over the last couple of days since i inspected it just a few days ago and it was fine(er). Now there is this, first i thought spidermites, but at closer inspection it looks alot more like budrot. So i prepped the surgery and cut away the infected buds its a sad thing to do, but i believe its right. What to do next is my current concern. The lady speaking of is a white widow, the budrot only showed at the main stem and infected (from what i can see) 6 buds in the main cola. Question is, what do you think is the next step. Its clos(ish) to harvest, Id say about 3-4 weeks, and its an option to cut the whole thing down to prevent it from spreading its horrible stuff to the two other plants in the room. Is there any preventive measure i should take to ensure that the others are not infected? Any help will be appreciated.
Below is the picture of the buds in question, you can see the white web looking stuff there. Before its cut off.
