Thanks, y'all! Depending on how they look tomorrow, it'll be chop day. We'll see! It's been a hell of an experience! I'm excited for my next run which will begin the same day as chop day.

WEEK 10 OF FLOWER CAPPED (DAY 70)

They looked ready today, and I needed to get my next batch going under a good light to prepare for flowering. I chopped 'em down!

I am excited to say they're hanging in the tent behind some sheets to dry. Hopefully they don't get too much light back there. Have some photos of the finished ladies!

WEEK 10 OF FLOWER CAPPED (DAY 70)

I have the plant that kicked the bucket a couple weeks or so ago sitting in a crockpot with some butter. Tried to get a much usable flower as possible off of it. We'll see how they turn out!

Hey, guys! The next grow is the Homegrown Cannabis Co Bruce Banner Fast Version that I already have a thread up for. I was HOPING that they would be ready to flower by the time the Silver Lotus finished, but they had some real trouble because of my fear of nutrient burning. They're doing better now, and I have clones taken of them so that I can be ready for flowering once the mothers are big enough and pruned right. Please feel encouraged to check that thread out as I'm still learning, I need all the help I can get, and there won't be many replies here until the smoke reports which will be in January or February.

As for these gals, the smell is pretty awesome. It's not that regular "dank weed" smell, but much more of a citrusy scent. Not TOO strong, but when I burp the jars for the first plant that went out a few weeks ago, my wife knows it from across the room almost immediately.

I am wondering though - do y'all think that hanging behind that curtain is suitable for the drying? Do you think the light that gets past it is going to hurt their potency? Or do you think I'm worrying about the light Boogeyman too much? Thanks!

@Work but I'll quickly reply.
I'll be honest with ya man, I've dried in my tent with lights on. I've dried prob 95% of it outside the tent in sunlight also.

I have no idea if it makes much of a difference. I still get high, still found some Uber potent stuff with no issue.

Would it be better dried in the dark... perhaps, but its not world ending whatsoever if you don't.

My 2 cents.

That's of immense assurance. I'm glad that it's not a total flop if I have to do what I have to do. I appreciate you replying while busy. I know how it is.

You're welcome.
Your buds will be fine.

I worry more about Room Humidity and drying times more than any light, but again, not to say that it doesn't help if you dry in darkness. I've just never done it personally.

WEEK 5 OF VEG

Here they have gotten more fish filter fertilizer, and they're starting to erupt. The yellowing of the leaves is still a mystery. Unsure if it's too much or too little light, nitrogen or otherwise, but they grew like crazy after the topping the week prior.

If anyone with a lot of good experience doing organic soil grows wants to chime in on this yellowing, hit me up. I don't want this to continue, but I also don't want to assume deficiency and burn the hell out of them with fish poop. Thanks!
I start under a little T5 light and increase the light power as the roots develop. Aloe in the water seems to help roots develop. I try not to overpower the roots ability to keep up.

When the run is over the roots will tell a lot about how well the plant was doing

@flylowgethigh

Do you mean when the plant foliage width extends beyond the root mass width? Makes sense to me. I think I really just need to break through my trepidation of burning plants - they are hungrier than I've given them credit for, and I'm not using "synthetic" fertilizers that are more prone to harmful levels. I damn near killed my next batch of plants by not feeding them enough. I was so worried and threw a hail mary by fertilizing them with massive amounts of fish poop and they bounced back within 48 hours from what looked like the absolute brink of death. They're smaller than they should be by now, but they're getting stronger every day.

Up potting when the leaf drip line is beyond the container edge is just good practice. I meant that the light power the plants get in my artificial environment starts low, and increases as the plant grows. It may not be the way things are supposed to be done, but there is what I do. I use a PAR meter to measure the power the leaves are getting.

No, that sounds about right to me. I found out myself that you can't just blast them with light from day 1. You can increase it quickly once they have even a little size but you have to start off weak or they'll fry.

All packs.
I didn't have any Bodhi gear until just over a month ago.

Thought I'd grab a few.
I'm currently not growing at the moment. Hoping to change that eventually.
