I’ll buy it again for a quick bounce once it dips below $6,000.00 after that quick trade I’m out ....

Regarding long term value I would not touch other alt coins with a ten foot pole. Until the dust settles.

This is not organic growth it’s driven by Asian casino buyers it’s not a global driven market. 95% volume came from China as it ran past $1,000.00 as China was erecting currency controls as us treasury holdings hit crisis levels and they tried stopping people from exiting yuan / host currency in that communist land dealing with currency outflows, it fundamentals

The Wachovia brothers or whatever name is cashed out when they gave futures markets control and teamed up with them.

Bitcoin could rocket higher again but a new trend has been set and that’s dropping prices now. Until this changes the new trend is down and weak hands are dumping across Asia

People should pull out of alt - tulips now and start saving fiat for that wave of inflation that coming as bond yield explode ....

Gas, food, real world “ things “ gonna get real expensive gonna be a long hot summer. The scum of the earth central bankers gonna extract that pound of flesh

Central bankers dirty rotten bums but have total control of commodity, currency, credit markets

I am doing the opposite. When the bottom hits, I am going to throw a ton of Fiat at some alts. You say you have been trading for how long? I am trying to accumulate at least 1 million tron. I am about to buy in at a lower position, but most of my purchases came around 3 cents. Lets chat again in 12 months and compare your career in stocks, vs my year in crypto.:tiphat:

Not talking smack, just what I think the potential could be.

The one thing you are forgetting with your post......... Nobody is on the barter system right? So tangible items cost Fiat. I argue, that will be changed to crypto in many countries across the world. The ability to have a bank account when your net worth is less than a Bank of America transaction fee really kills the banking in third worlds. A nano ledger and crypto is all you need.

To all the people worried sick when they see their account go all red, this means you put more money in there than you are comfortable with. If it’s keeping you up at night then take it out. I’m sorry if you lost a lot of money already, I only speculated what I was willing to lose and have been advocating for others to do the same.

Unfortunately lower lows and lower highs are the new trend. All significant supports broken, I have no idea where the crypto market is going but it needs a massive injection of new, seasoned money(Robin Hood?) or this trend will probably continue to the downside. I cut my losses and took some money off the table, not because I care that much about losing it but I think, and my amateur trader opinion is that we’re going much lower than this before we start cultivating a bullish trend. In short, I think this is more than just a correction but rather the possibility of a full blown bear market. Until then my money will be on the sidelines looking for a re-entry.

Good luck everyone. See you guys at the resurection of crypto because it’s not going away.:tiphat:

IMO that’s Terrible advice Chappi - no offense intended. Never sell in a dip. You only lose when you cash out.

The Mantra should be “Buy the Dip”

When the market goes up start taking gains. When it dips put those gains into below value assets

It’s like 2 dials - cash and stock. When stocks are high dial stock back and increase the cash dial. When the market dips do the opposite.

Selling low is a rookie mistake.

Do your due dilly and HODL motherduckers!

Chimera you’re comparing apples to oranges. The DOW, NASDAQ and S&P 500 are all in a BULL MARKET-defined by higher highs and higher lows.
attachment.php

Crypro market cap is the oposite. BEAR MARKET lower lows and lower highs.

“Although figures vary, a downturn of 20% or more from a peak in multiple broad market indexes, such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) or Standard & Poor's 500 Index (S&P 500), over a two-month period is considered an entry into a bear market.” -Investopedia

We are way beyond 20% from the top at one month of this downturn.

At the same time we’re only one month into this downturn that’s why I said that we MAY BE in a bear market. Nothing is 100% but the probability leans towards more pain lol Benefit of a doubt goes to the crypto bears.

For example, and to agree with you, I am buying the dip on the S&P 500 and NASDAQ but liquidating most of my positions in crypto. Because buying the dip on a bull market makes sense vs catching a falling knife in crypto.

I’m not giving anyone advice, to be clear. Basic rule for speculating/investing is don’t invest more than you are willing to lose. If you think this will magically turn around and shoot to the moon then buy away. But based on what I KNOW, and in my opinion and my opinion only- I think this will go lower.

Much love and respect Chimera.:tiphat:

u need $40,000 in margin per contract before you can use them. and 95% lose everything trading futures or options. a black swan event can wipe an account out in seconds as margin calls flood in from brokers. so you really need deep pockets. i'd stick with buying and selling but never forget they are taxing u once you sell.

and its very complicated. with central banks buying bonds ( quantitative easing ) and driving down interest rates they have concurrently driven down the vix. with the vix suppressed its very hard selling / trading options.

the markets are rigged. they no longer trade or move because of macro, or i should say, traditional means for sifting winners and losers is gone ie: being smarter than the other guy is toast.

Growing rumblings of how the Tether assets may have reality problems. Nearly 2 Billion in tether out there, supposedly backed by nearly 2 billion USD. Indications tether was used to purchase BTC and other alts when the market dipped, and that a large amount of tether is counterfeit.

Anyone on Bitfinex? (creators/owners of Tether) I'd pull your assets from there asap. ;)

Freaking AWESOME if this drops btc/alts even lower. Way Awesome... :D
