Great looking roots. Glad they are exploding. Did you switch away from the DynaGrow II Silica Rocks? That doesn't look like stuff I have seen before.

1 week 12/12

Hydro them are growstones I believe, so far I like em we'll see how they clean up after Ill also get some more root porn up for ya there way bigger already

Thanks ccgg

Here they are 1 week in and they are taking off

they were vegged all the same time? I assume so.......and if so it really shows the advantage of the 13 gal containers. Also.....if you are just using the hoods "open" you dont think it would be more advantageous to hang them vert?

They look sick bro at one week in. My boys run an UC system and I really dig the tech behind them. Results speak for themselves.

How would hanging them vert be help at all? being serious id like to know? cause with the room size and UC setup i dont see how that would help one bit. Sorry if it seems rude not my intention, im just asking bluntly.

I'll try to make it simple. The canopy of a plant senses surrounding air temperature and humidity, and if it likes these variables, it will use light and grow.

If your environmental conditions are right, ya might think it can only help to throw more light towards the plants by using a reflector, BUT the reflector itself changes the surrounding environment. Bulbs produce radiant heat that can't be removed which heats up everything around it such as the atmosphere near the tops of the plants (making them not want to use any more light.) Being we can't remove this heat, we make damn sure we move the surrounding air effected by it. A reflector will absorb heat and the increased surface area of the reflector in contact with surrounding air just amounts to it heating the room more. Ya want to sort of push around heat to keep the canopies happy. Heat naturally rises and you can exploit that or try to mix everything evenly around. Bottom line is you can use the reflector, but it'll cost ya extra for cooling and cause wear on your equipment. Why haul around reflectors to get more light when ya can just add another bare bulb if your room is too cold?

I have been hanging on to my undercurrent 6xxl for 2 years waiting for a place to grow and a chiller which I have read is crucial in these units. Are the undercurrents really that good?

Thanks everybody

The cuts are all the same age but as u all know some just get bigger. So I put the bigger cuts in the 13 mods and the smaller ones in the 8 mods. The plan for the 8 and 13s are canopy management when I decide to run 2 different strains one that stretches and one that doesnt it should keep them very close to the same

The room is staying 80 -82 degrees and the co2 was set at 1250 first 2 weeks. I did a nute change out yesterday and bumped the co2 up to 1350. I can tell u these are growing way way faster with co2 I have never seen so much growth in a matter of days its just nuts. There already settin pre flowers as well which usually isnt til mid 2 weeks to 3 weeks with this strain.

I have some new pics Ill pop them up shortly

Thanks again

I like your style and take a sit and wait for flowers! UC grows start to seems more easy to build and work well as RDWC does, am I wrong?
