I have my 2" to 1.5" reducer packed full of filters that right below the sight glass(2" sightglass") But didnt feel there was a need for the filter inside the chamber since i have those and a good wad of filters in the 2 to 4" reducer. I dont get any flakes in my oil or anything but no build up of fluid in my sight glass like you do, which looks cool lol.
