Yeah - so what?
Most prevalent does not translate into a broad-spectrum insecticide.
You're lack of experience in ornamental pesticides falls under "everyone and their brother knows" - pretty standard for stoner science.

I NEVER said Floramite was a broad-spectrum pesticide, did I? You know why I didn't say that? Because I KNOW it isn't! You think you found yourself some dumb stoner that doesn't know what he's doing, and you're gonna teach him a lesson, and make an example of me, right?
Wrong. I research the hell out of everything I use, including pesticides, weeks before I start shopping for them. I use them sparingly, below recommended doses and at carefully-selected dates on the calendar. Then I have it lab tested to make sure it's not present in the final product. Maybe you do the same, but I doubt your tremendous ego would allow any silly gas chromatograph or mass spectrometer to prove you wrong.
Whatever, I'm through with you and your ignorance. You hose your plants with anything you want twice a week, have fun. I've got plants to grow.
