This Auto M x NL showed it's first pistil at 30 days. In a gallon pot under 12 hours. I'm trying to keep the plant small with the intention of reversing it using colloidal silver. It's been sprayed for six days and hoping to get another twelve days out of the bottle. If this works, pollen will be used on this plant only. I realize the preferred method is to use STS rather than CS but this was available at good strength and was cheap. The plant will be moved to a greenhouse to finish.

This was a free seed from Ace in a early 2019 order. I know any seed made from this selfing will be different than the original Auto. Can someone pipe in as to what to expect from such an inbred line. I don't have high expectations, just want to get a good amount of Auto female seeds for a large outdoor planting.

Love seeing your great results with our genetics Burnwell :tiphat:

Yours is the very high yielding and balanced sativa/indica phenotype.
Super healthy and well developed, probably the biggest indoor Auto Malawi x NL we have seen so far in this room

She's doing well at 6 weeks. Looks to be a good producer. Easy to grow and big for such a small pot. Love growing Ace genetics!

Hi Lotto,

We have always used STS for our feminized reversions, never tried with CS as the STS has worked very well for us, hope you succeed with your reversion process.

Despite Auto Malawi x NL is currently at F4 breeding stage, the line is not so inbred yet, it still has a good amount of heterosis as it is a complex polyhybrid and has been bred using many different lines and many different females from each line, in that way we have kept the vigor and yield we are seeking for in this XXL autoflowering strain of strong sativa influence.

I commented previously in depth in this thread what happens when you self pollinate (S1) this line and how it works in outcrosses, kindly check previous pages for more details.

Auto MxNL is a bit under 5 weeks old. Started applying CS at 30 days when first pistils showed. After 12 days of spraying, boy parts exploded on plant. This plant alone will be pollinated to produce as many auto seeds as possible for an outdoor grow.

It's in the greenhouse where it will cause no trouble to others. If this throws good pollen and seeds ripen by mid to late July, there should be time for a small fall harvest. This sure is a pretty little plant. Nice branching habit, very quick to flower and is not fussy at all.

A friend of mine is running an Auto Malawi atm but has some problems. The plant itself has lots of vigor and looks just beautiful. The problem is that it won´t start flowering although it is now more then 7 weeks old! Did anyone ever experience this? Is it possible to induce flowering somehow? That Lady is getting too big :plant grow:

I’ve had it happen with a different strain before and had to change my lights to 12/12 and worked but I was growing other autos at the same time that I felt suffered from loosing 6 hours of light a day.
I’m assuming he’s growing indoors. If it’s alone I’d just trim it up to a usable size for the space and change the timer.
Hope that helps

Really nice aromas!

Really nice aromas!

Hello everyone, I have tried malawixnl this season, outdoors in the Canary Islands and I would like to comment on my experience. I only put a seed of this variety because I am also testing the auto zamaldelica (these days I will put some photos in its thread), and I cut it yesterday with two months from seed. Well the case is that in growth I had problems with the drainage of the pot, and I could not take care of it much, and it remained small, but simply because of the bad conditions. Flowering was better, it developed a lot of resin and huge chalices like a feminized malawi that I grew a few years ago. But what has surprised me a lot are the aromas that it developed just after it started to flower strawberries, fruits and yogurt, and also the intensity of the aroma. I am very happy and eager to try the dried flowers with a proper cure. Also comment that the production is something to highlight also because it forms very fat buds and all over the plant (and although in my case I had a 50 cm plant, it was all bud).

It made a very positive impression on me compared to other cars from other banks I've tried.

I attach some photos although unfortunately they are not very good, taken with the mobile. In a month or so I will comment on how the dried flowers are and effects.

Thanks to Dubi and the entire ACE team for these great jobs.

They look killer Varelse!

You'll love the smoke, Auto Malawi is very very tasty, mine had a cinnamon frankincense of sorts that drove me nuts.

Chicharrero? Canarión? :D

Auto Malwai NL, sadly my timing was off and she suffered growth wise. I think its around 4 weeks. Looks more indica, little early to tell though. Was hoping for a hazey-malawi type.

Chicharrero? Canarión? :D

Thanks Repuk! Jeje Canarión de la zona norte, with a fairly good climate to grow sativas, although the auto ones if they catch a bit of a donkey's belly (panza de burro) in growth they do not tend to stretch much (Although the zamaldelica have remained enormous for what I am used to, I imagine that due to the sativa gens), also because we have fewer hours of light than in the peninsula.
Sadly the photos do not do it justice, the next season I will definitely try again with more seeds. Because I loved the strawberry aroma in bloom, it is very marked and very different from the usual.
These days I will upload some photos of the zamaldelica car in the ACE thread, because those did not have as many percanses as the Malawi and they looks amazing. I have one very close to the cut.

The free seed has come to the end. It was fun watching her grow and finally make really nice buds. Even before curing I tried some in my Pax and it's usable, but I'll wait. Found a couple of tiny pollen sacs at the end. Had a small mite family on one branch. Cut it off and never had any more. Good producer. I'll chop her very soon. Sorry for the lousy pictures. Most the branches bent over from the weight of the buds so the girl isn't pretty.

Hello.I would like to show you 3 plants Malawi x NL
The first is smaller. It blooms the fastest. The other two are already over 1.7 meters high. I think they are sativa phenotype. I'm really excited about how fast they grow. They smell very interesting. Great job Ace team.
I am glad that I can grow exotic sativas even in our position, where this is not possible without light dep.
