Just wanted to add that I have used neem oil as a spray and that it could make sense to add it to your reservoir or water and feed it to your plants in minimal dosage. Bugs and pests are always a toil and a natural alternative should bear some consideration amongst growers. Thanks for your input OzzieAI, I will definitely consider this if I resume any garden in future.

oh...yeah and welcome para...tales from the darkside of this lifestyle...good to see ya back...

i think a lot of people have missed the boat on neem oil and it's systemic properties...it works as an organic bug repellent for my plants

Mmmmmm was a mighty fine tasty rib eye I tell ya, even had to cook myself another one ;)
Yes ozzieAI's sig line about the Neem drench to the roots has got me very interested, next pension check I'm getting me some Neem to try out. I have used Eco-Oil before in the same manner and found no adverse effects on the plants or much or any spidermite damage/attacks this last season gone, so it worked for me with the Eco-Oil which has Neem in it I think. :chin:

Neem should surely be the cheapest option to gain the same results b00m. It is used as a general product for gardening and won't have the premium price that many additives have. As long as you have any eco-oil left, keep using. When you run out though, compare the price against neem. When I bought it I had to get it delivered from the U.S. but. It was only $9-12 delivered for an amount that was so high in concentration that I got ripped before I used half of it. Word. Lol.

BTW, your steak sounds delicious b00m. I went out for Indian and it was by far the worst I've ever bought out. I have been hitting some scotch and soda though and it has softened the blow of a crappy restaurant meal. A nice hit of some dank sweet is so in order, alas I will just have to pour more scotch. Could be a hellava lot worse but...

Sucks that your meal wasn't that good mate, I know the feeling when you pay for sub-par food it just isn't right ;)
I still have 3/4 of a bottle of the Eco-Oil which will last me for the rest of this year I reckon but I always wanted to have some Neem on hand in the arsenal just in case for those pest emergencies :dueling: :bat:

Just read about Tony 'Mullaway' and his legal struggle. I am so glad that someone has stood up to our draconian legal system. It has inspired me to share a story with you.

In 2001 I was diagnosed with a disease called Negative ANCA Vasculitis. It is an auto immune disease that is a less aggressive similarity to HIV or AIDS. My immune system started creating plural types of blood cells that attacked each other and rendered my immune system useless. The symptoms presented in a red raw rash all over my body, Rheumatoid Arthritis in all of my joints (knee, elbow, wrist fingers etc) and infections to my major organs (lungs, liver etc). I was treated over 18 months with hardcore medication that included Cortisone tablets (Prednisolone) and Methotrexate. This treatment basically slowed and eventually halted my immune system and acted like a stunt double in its place. The side effects were devastating. The symptoms of the disease were replaced by massive weight gain (from fluid), general chronic fatigue and a strain on my major organs that left me with a prognosis of a much shorter potential life span.

My one and only relief from the side effects was Cannabis. It made me feel so much better, both as an anti depressant and analgesic. I hate to think where I would be today without the treatment that good weed provided me.

I was receiving treatment from the absolute best professionals in Rheumatoid Specialization (Anthony Liptak - Former Crows footballer and Rheumatoid specialist) and the Professor of Immunology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Prof Gilles (David - if my memory serves me correctly).

The diagnosis and subsequent prognosis from them long term was that I would have to continue treatment for a substantial amount of my life, possibly all, and that my potential life expectancy would be much lower than average due to the strain that the treatment would put on my major organs.

I decided to wean myself off of their treatment and continue my own medicine, a natural alternative. Despite their warnings and scare mongering I continued unabated.

Within 3 months all of my symptoms and side affects were history, I was back to my former health. No pharma drugs and no worries whatsoever. A miracle according to modern science of the time.

So many people don't realise the healing effect of Cannabis. I literally owe my quality of life to a simple herb that grows free range and landrace all over the world.

It is people like Tony who are fighting the everyday battle against popular alarmist opinion, the Government and Big Pharma. People like Tony deserve our respect and support. I'm so glad that commonsense has prevailed and that he is free. It is a shame that he has to abide and conform to a court order that commands him to cease his personal activism against our idiotic system that is based on scare mongering (reefer madness - now like 50 years old... maybe more, I'm not sure), protection of Pharmaceutical Companies, the trade of law and order and imprisonment amongst other agendas that continue to abate the truth about the medicinal qualities and benefits of Marijuana.

I acknowledge that Cannabis can be extremely dangerous to people with mental illness or genetic predisposition towards it. I urge that if you fit this category you should not consider using Marijuana medically or for recreation.

The thing that is so very sad is that by the time it is generally accepted that Cannabis is a great medical treatment for a variety of medical issues, and government acknowledges it and passes laws to allow the general population use of it, they will only license production of it to the pharmaceutical companies that have hindered its production, trials and use for all of modern time. This will destroy the genetic diversity that all of us advocates have created and worked towards and further ensure that similar to tobacco or alcohol, any private production will be more illegal than it currently is. Look at the way Monsanto has patented genetic life, modifying and legally owning nature. Eventually anything and everything Cannabis will belong to the very same people who have prohibited it in the first place.

Can't win either way in terms of legalization I'm afraid.

But hats off to people like Tony who are pioneering a path for people who have no alternative in treatment that comes close to this natural tonic. God bless you brother.

Sorry for the rant guys, had to say but...

BTW b00m, another tip for pests...

If an epidemic starts quick and gets out of control, grab a bottle of CO2 (beer gas from BOC or Liquidair). Turn off your fans when lights are out and temps permit and just gas the little fuckers. Leave the fans off and gas in the room for a good 6-12 hours. CO2 is heavier than air and generally stays inside mainly closed spaces as long as a fan doesn't circulate. Plants love CO2, little insects choke. It's saved me twice from hardcore pest invasion.

Para mate that SSSDH looks divine :good:

Yeah b00m, the SSSDH was a divine smoke for sure. It is a great outdoor grow as well for Adelaide climate. The photo's were taken a couple of seasons back, grown in Port Adelaide territory. The haze dominance means that she will withstand 40-45 degree temps and the long dry summer gives you plenty of time to give her the extended flower period that is required for this type of phenotype. The yield is pretty poor though, that said she is a one cone wonder. Probably second best strain I've grown, and I've definitely had my share of stellar genetics. I flowered her for a further 5-6 weeks after those shots were taken. Totally organic, in the ground. Stank to high heaven but...lol.
