I am a pretty avid hold 'em player. I actually made a living for about a year playing at the local casino. I find that if you smoke a blunt of a strain like bogglegum it helps you to relax and not give away any signs of what your holding. I would love to get a game going with fellow IC members.

theres been talk of an actual ic mag poker room ,i'm sure if enough interest is shown and the funds can be found for the programming etc, then the powers that be might just well grant the go ahead ,,,

Ok, I’m a poker player. I play in the national pub poker league. You should check it out and see if it’s around your area. It’s a free roll tournament and they have one every night at different location around my area. I usually play about 3 - 7 tournaments a week. I have read a few books. I would recommend super system by Doyle Brunson it’s a very good book. Some say it’s the bible of poker. I’m going to get Daniel Negranau's books when they come out.
I just started to play a few weeks ago in those tournaments. I placed 5th 2 times and won once. Its about 60 people average and the prize pool can range from 100 – 500$ depends on the location. It’s a free roll tournament so the prize pool depends on the amount of people and the bar puts up the money because the poker tourneys attracts customers.

Ok hers my biggest poker tip. (Hold’em)
How to read people. Ok first I’m not talking about looking for some type of tell I’m talking about how to read peoples whole cards by there actions. You want to closely observe everyone at the table and constantly ask yourself WHY. Why is he raising, what kind of hand does this guy or girl raise with pre-flop. How does he act after the flop when he raised. What kind of hands does this person call with. Does he like to slow play a lot when he’s got a monster or does he bet and how much. Well you have to constantly ask yourself why this person is doing this and you want to think like that person and then you can more accurately tell what they have. There’s a lot more to it but hey I hope this helps some of you guys.

I agree but the great players don't go routine. Theirs no easy algorithm to a great player. Your tip does help for the everyday player though.

Eh the great players still have their habits. Everyone gives something away, it's whether or not you can catch it.

Well that’s just a general tip that everyone can use. When playing a really good player you have to change gears constantly and be able to be very aggressive. Great players know when to put the pressure on the other person and have them make a decision. The only way to beat a good aggressive player is to fight fire with fire. although you may want to change it up and slow play big hands also but generally you want to bet out and have the person always guessing if your bluffing or not because most of the time especially in heads up both of you will have absolutely nothing and who ever pushes the hardest will get what’s in the middle.

Anybody try pacificpoker at 888.com? I have been on this site for years, but don't have much else to compare it to.

I play on pokerroom.com. I have played for money online before. But I prefer to play for money at a real table of poker.

I'm down for a game sometime. I'd even switch to bodog if need be.

he just blew it again.

Yes, that is the reason he was wearing those blue sunglasses. Even though everyone knew he still tried to hide it.
