Its possible to make a living playing online poker, I have a friend who has done it for a living for the past 5 or 6 years.
he plays mostly 1/2 and 2/4 nl and makes atleast 40k a year.
Its not easy though he goes through days being down 1500 then up 2000 etc, its just normal to him at this point.
If your serious about trying, wright down how many hours you play for and figure out if its worth it too you or not.
also he usually gets like 700$ a month in rakeback so you might want to look into that too.
pocket fives is a good forum if you like poker or following poker. G.L
Pokerstars is a good way to get good at poker. If you've ever seen Elky playing on TV high stakes poker, he used to play Starcraft Broodwar professionally. I played vs him in a tournament on Starcraft, from video games to poker.
in 07 or 08 i got invited to a 2000euro tournament in Hamburg, Germany from a friend who plays professional.

I play on PS and also play in poker leagues in my area. I like the poker leagues best because your sitting at the table with people. You can just get so much more info playing live. Poker is my #1 hobby.
