Anyone JUICE?

N

You just want to show off your season ticket holder glass...ha ha. My go to juice is mostly carrots, a large beet and a touch of ginger with a shot of wheatgrass juice on the side. I cheat with the grass juice a lot and add a teaspoon of low temp dried organic barley grass juice and mix in. Much sweeter than the wheatgrass IMO. If my urine gets a little pink then too much beet in the mix lol. I also add a pinch of Himalayan salt and sometimes a stick of celery.

Not much of a fruit juice person and only do fresh orange.

I hear the leftover pulp is useful in bread recipes. Might also be good for dietary fiber. If nothing else, organic compost.

Love the carrot /apple mix. I use whatever is in the fridge or the garden and usually drink a fresh juice for lunch.
Today was cucumber/parsley/lime. I started without peeling the cuke but it was just too strong with the skin so I ended up peeling the rest of it.
I use an older Braun juicer I found at the local thrift store for $15.00.
The pulp gets thrown in the worm bin.The worms love it.

Nice.

Cabbage is really cheap and really healthy.

I'm sure my wife is going to hate the adjustment period while my bowels get used to drinking a pint or two of veg juice everyday.

Did you guys know you can juice fresh cannabis leaves?

Great for pain & inflammation, and you don't get high.

Just thought I'd add that for those who don't know.

You can combine it with other juices to make it more palatable.

I think the best method to juice it is using a wheatgrass juicer.

I use a Vita Mix, and blend the shit out of everything! Always kale and spinach, always apples, love pears, carrots are game, ginger is way good for you. Just got into homegrown wheat grass, good shit. Still getting the whole rotation thin down when growing wheat grass I still have a lot of learning to do. Great Thread!

I juice pretty often

if it's not a juice, it's gonna be a shake with hemp protein

I used to go ABC, apples beets carrots

nowaddays a lot of celery and carrot juices

throw in apples

I stopped with the beets because I was staining the cubbard doors and my hands

my hemp protein shakes, I put almond milk or rice milk

hemp protein

a banana and small fruit (strawberries and or blueberries and or any berries)

first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title was, juicing up on steroids :)

also there are different kinds of juicers, I forgot the name of the 2 types

one type extracts much more juice but is usually more expensive

I have an old juicer that you can find at thrift stores for 15-25$, my friend has a 300$ one he got from a health food store

Anyone owned/used multiple juicers and have any recommendations? I'd like to be able to juice harder to juice items like wheat grass and kale but I'm still unsure how objective all the review sites are so I'm not sure which to get.
