Hey Girls,

I seen this type of thread in another forum and it was quite fun. If you have a talent for crafting, sewing, etc..... so c'mon ladies lets post pics of what we love to do!


A pillow I made/embroidered for my daughter, a graduation present.



A couple of macreme' necklaces



I also make a lot of plant hangers

Over the years, I've have accumulated many hobbies & skills - costuming, leather work, sewing, quilting, pattern drafting & design, embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, millinery (hat making), fabric painting, macrame, calligraphy, photography, graphic design, desktop publishing, computer repair - oh, and gardening! :D

you are crafty indeed LadyO :wave: Those necklaces kick ass! I love'em... and those plant holders, wow... how long does it take to make something like that>?

I am not so crafty, however I do manage to put out some grade school projects a couple times a year.... :D

but, in our previous life, H3ad used to mine quartz crystals up in the mountains with a bunch of rainbow hippies and we would make necklaces with them, he is much better at it than I. when we first met he gifted me with one specialy made for me, and they've both been with me ever since... One day when the kid is grown and we have more time on our hands that is something I would like to do again.....

but yes, very nice projects in here.... :yes:

It takes me about 45 min to do a necklace and about 2 hours to do a plant hanger....... uh, depending how stoned I am.... lol

Quartz.... sounds really cool!

Indigo you don't have to do that but Jesus I will certainly have to attend next 420 for sure now. Mrs. BOG will shit! lol... ok keep knitting but this calls for a good gift back from me and now I know.

LadyOlive, your work is quite beautiful and you should be proud of your skill. Mrs. BOG is able to sew very well as she has had her singer since she was a girl. It still works and she made clothes she wore in school. She even knitted little yoyo bags back when I was practicing to be a Duncan YoYo Man. :D Didnt work out tho...lol

I did some crafts when in the adult Psych ward. :sasmokin: No I worked there actually but I did all the activities and now I wonder who was crazier. The patients, me or my bosses there? We liked to paint ceramics as one activity but I am no artist. Wish I was and once I got an A on an art class project. I made a metal christmas tree or cactus of sorts from tin cans and it was pretty good. Never got it back but the school probably threw it away as the junk it really was. :D BOG

I love creating things.

Here is a pic of a jean jacket that I have been sewing on since 1995. And sew on for every party.
I hang out with a group of girls I went to school with and have been friends for over 30 years. It's a long story but we call ourselves the Black Widow Bitches. A few of our birthdays are around Halloween and after a few cocktails.... hehehe, we came up with the BWB's.

We have our own website and I made a logo and have it tatooed on my boob.
We hang out all year long, but we go camping twice a year on some acreage that 2 of the girls have. We start on Friday afternoon and it ends Sunday whenever.

There is about 25 or so of us all together now and we have a ball! In the summer we sleep in tents, our cars or trucks, around the campfire... wherever. And the Halloween one, we sleep in trailors or in the teepee one of the girls made about 8 years ago. Because at the end of Oct, it can get pretty cold. But you should see the size of the bonfire we make! :yoinks:

Most times we theme our parties.... so far we've themed Caribbean Island Party, Biker Bitches, Lingerie, Halloween, Sex Toy, Disco, Ya Ya Sisterhood, a 60's Hippie Party, Come as your true BWB self, and on the 28th of this month we'll be having a "Western" party. Everybody dresses up to the theme and have so much fun with it!

I'm the DJ, so I usually burn a CD that goes with the theme.

If you would like to see the website, it's on Yahoo and their stingy with bandwidth, so you have to go in twice. PM me and I'll send you the url.
But don't be shocked ok! No, just kidding.... it's pretty cool!
(No nudity though.... sorry)

Anyways, here's the jacket. Everything embroidered on it pertains to the themes and the parties. Even the dogs they bring. And a few Native American things, and an OM symbol because I meditate.

My wife and I make quilled medicine wheels using dyed porcupine quills and wrap them around a piece of rawhide.

Wow Indigo, nice jewerly. I dated a guy that worked with silver. Everybody here is very talented.Don't know how crafty this is but Right now Im mostly building displays for work and I made a light fixture for my fish tank out of a gutter.(turns out I would have saved about 20$ if I had just bought one)I'll post pics later if my internet will let me :badday:
