If it were not for smoking that BATF today I would have done this in a hour or 2..

Last but not least we add a float valve...

I believe this just became the world biggest All in one Wide pot PPK. ..

Ain't evolution grand. ..

No glue to dry beyond the frame and I could fill and run it tonight.

This means I won't need a big old control/pulse tote outside the tent, which means less hoses all over the floor..

Nice. ..

Ill tell you what...
This thing is crazy....

Well...
I will be able to take the perlite out of the pool as im
using the full floods to mix the turface and all
the perlite is coming to the top.

I dont need to fill the pool to the top with perlite and will shoot
for 3/4 which will leave a little wiggle room...(lesson learned)

I think I will add the ladies tomorrow night and pop me some seeds
so I dont run out of things to do....

Someone talk to me about flooding...

Im guessing I should start off with 1 flood a day with a dry day
every 3rd or 4th to get the root to spread.

Go from there...

Taking 4 Border Haze ladies(No Pots) and a Dude BH that will
stay in pot so I can take him out.

Going to place them where there is no wick so they
have to search for them.

Thinking 7 day veg with a 600 MH...

Looks like the pool is just a little off center
toward the back and will add a piece of pvc to
the legs to correct this.

The water in the lower pool is staying clear and once
ever thing is running smooth.
I will close the gap between pools with reflective duck tape.

Three things........
1. :respect: I love this design for vert  I'm imagining HGO style plants in a kiddie pool ppk :headbange

2. Lower your flood pipes closer to the media (i.e 1-2" above). The waterfall action will damage roots in that area of the ppk.

3. You are using a media with almost no capacity to hold water (similar to hydrotron), so regular flooding is going to be required to keep PH and EC stable (as water evaporates EC rises and PH drops) D9 is flooding every 90 mins 24/7, this is where i'd recommend you start tweaking from also. He is rooting clones directly into the ppk with this same flood cycle, which leads me to believe it's maintaining fairly ideal root parameters .
