aeroponics and led = back to the future foe me!

Love the setup:) I have always wanted to set up something with the PVC tubes as they just look cool, but i tend to grow big plants in coco/soil that I just don't think would work out that well. Aero really is the way to go from everything I have read, but man is it tricky. Being able to quickly see the results when correcting issues would be nice though.

Xavier, just try it. You go from cloner to the aero system, really no veg necessary. Maybe a few days veg, but they get flipped to flower quick, cause the growth rate is fast and furious, lol.

Flower day 28. I defoliated today. The small plant is not looking 100, but the others look great. I need CSI (cannabis show investigators), lol. I was away for 6 days, so I wasn't able to be as attentive as the ladies like, but they did just fine. Me on the beach in a bikini was very necessary for my health!!!! I have to say they're very frosty, but we will have to see when they finish.

:yoinks:

dang those are awesome looking castout. so much great vigor and consistency. that combo of aero n' led look perfect for keeping it discreet, a near zero heat signature and ultra low energy consumption.

I've got a commercial two door upright freezer that could benefit from something like that.

Aeroponics is def the way to go nothing matches the growth speed. Personally I use my aeroponic table for vegetables works amazing for heads of lettuce!

Aeroguerilla, thanks for stopping in. What would you say is going on with my sick gal? I also couldn't agree more that aero growing is where it's at!!!!!

You must have some kind of an issue going on, but it seams odd that only one out of 12 is looking that way. Are they all the same cutting? Or are there several different cutting in there too.

With hydro, or any type of hydro that has NO media you do not need to flush, you have nothing that needs to be flushed. Mediums like soils, coco coir, rock wool, are what you'd want to flush as they will hold nutrients and salts.

What type of water are you using, tap water, RO water? What is the starting PPM of your water? How long has it been since you changed the res? I find changing out the res with fresh nutrient solution is one of the quickest ways to fix a nutrient problem if you have an issue.

I had the same problem in my aero table it's caused by what i believe to be build up of fungi in the reservoir.. clean that out once every 2 weeks or you could add some chlorinated water to the reservoir every time you refill. It happened to me when I didnt clean out my reservoir for a whole cycle lost 32 plants in week 6 flower all slimey roots.

Pythium is the problem. My beach vacation was where I slacked. The res temp was 76, when we got back. The little plant that was stressed must have gotten it because of the stress. I remember pythium very well, unfortunately. So today we are headed to the grow shop to get pythoff. We have been adding h2o2 to the res since Friday. These pics were from last Friday.

There was also a recommendation of dutchmaster zone. I will also buy that today as well. Although this sucks, it is a part of growing. I am ready for the challenge!!!!!

Been using the zone ans h2o2. I haven't been able to get the pythoff yet. The store has been closed. The plants are super frosty, but the yield will be low, but as long as the quality is there. I will take some pics tomorrow. I see white roots growing again, so that is heartening. The res temp is at 68. I'm upset that I allowed this to happen, but I really needed my vacation. I know that I will start over after we harvest this garden, and get it right next time!!!!

Flower day 52. I hate pythium!!!! The plants look like crap, but they are frosty and sticky. The yield is going to be poop, but I think we will limp to the finish, lol. The res temp is steady at 68, the ph at 5.9, and the nutes are at 800 ppm. The room temp is 72, the root zone temp is 69. I have been using zone, and hydroguard. I have discontinued using the h2o2, as I wasn't seeing any benefit to the plants. I am really bummed out, that I screwed up and got pythium. But, I bet I won't do this with the next round!!!!!!
