About to stop growing and open a hydro shop, can't see why not ?

dude if you have capital go for it. Worst case is you don't make it, sell inventory on ebay, fold corporation, walk from lease. 1000 a mounth in sales is nothing, im sure a few people around here have spent that in one day. As for the aquqponics do it in tha basement now. The 5 dollars i charge for water lettice, costs me around 5 cents to grow, the hybiscuss i sell at 15$ (my prices are 30% lower than most greenhouses) cost me 1$ ( the net pots cost 66cents).

I'm in no way trying to attack you - sorry if my post comes off otherwise. Just stating my opinion on the matter.

If people are placing 5k orders

I'm referring to YOU needing to place 5k orders just to get a few things special order or a few bottles you sold faster then the rest of the stuff. You could have a completely stocked store - sell some stuff that needs restocked - then have to place another 5K order to re-up on your crucial items(GH nutes or something).

Could be a good thing as you constantly are building up overstock and inventory, but also requires a bit of flex cash. You'll find your self constantly needing to come up with 5K worth of stuff to order even if you only need a few items.

Unless of course your just placing smaller orders and paying the shipping.

lol i see where the misread was. Id be plenty happy with a 5k customer each week. Yea the min orders only really seem to apply if i want free freight, under$4k i would have to pay trucking, or drop ship to the customer.

Poll is heading towards store. I like that. I know its the right thing to do, and will know whether it will happen or not by the weekend. I like polls actaully, i need to get the input from some people, i dont talk to anyone else about this stuff so the mind gets a little cloudy sometimes haha

the grow shop on my block rakes in cash, they are real busy all the time. but those guys put in work, they are there every day all day re stocking and dishing out help...anything to go legit is a good thing though. however i like the flexibility of a grow as opposed to a set 9-5 ritual.

also...1200 a week profits after expenses is only around 43,000 a year....some people make that much in a harvest, most make that in 2 or 3 months....you will be working more for less money.

man in my small ass town they had one growshop which is total crap.
adn then a second one opened. its an awesome shop. the owner told me he used to work on commercial scale growops and gone legit now. he has answers to all questions and they can get every kind of equipment delivered to this store. i love this shop. so i would say do it!

btw no clue if its true but the guy told me hes absolutely clean now, doesnt grow nor even smoke anymore. dont know if i can believe that lol ... but that would definitely be the way to go if you run a legit business i think. he wont hook me up with clones either :\

oh and business seems to be going well he has another shop in a different city. and in the beginning the boss was always around, now i hardly see him in the store anymore.
