Although I'm growing more comfortable with the cloning process I remain hard headed enough to hope for a batch of viable seeds from the girls outside - the appearance of this willowy male might provide that without resorting to the stash of pollen I've been hoarding in the freezer for the past several years.

Another project in the works is a late run of radish, squash, and two varieties of green beans that should be doable before Fall moves in then gives way to Winter here.

Getting ready for a minimal spooge fest from this diminutive male and his chosen virgins; the more robust specimen looks like it might evidence as female but probably won't flip in time to enjoy the bukakke (sp) party.

The leading edge of Fall here still sees daytime temps in the high 80's but the nights are cooling to high 60's and this more forgiving clime should see this backyard display coming to life.

All the unlabeled peppers and tomatoes have been freshly seated in slightly larger containers and should have another few months to make it through the fruiting stage.

Indoors has sort of stalled with the clones surviving but not thriving; the virgins outside didn't produce but a sprinkling of seeds and along with a handful of last Year's bounty I've got 11 hopefuls down with fingers crossed.
