Ive been told to chop, chop top chop the hell out of her and after a couple grows I can see why...

Mines a stretch freak....

I digs me a good mix of strains,I can control the effects fairly good at this point...

Cant say that I've ever had GSC
make me have anxiety but im a coffee
freak and would not really know the difference....

Your going to love the end show,bro....

Have a great time with em....

AD....

For sure man i'll chop the shit out of it. I specialize in supercropping so I shouldn't have a prob. Where I sometimes slack is defoilation on short bushy strains. I seem to always end up with hell of larf. From the pictures I've researched she looks like she grows like this Sour Flower strain I had. I can't wait until they get out of this clone mode and start taking off.

Day 5

Day 5

Woke up this morning and noticed they're finally transitioning into veg mode. I decided since they needed watering today will be first feeding. I top dressed with a light dose of a 1/4 tsp Elemental(Calmag), and grow. And watered with filtered ph 6.0 plain h2o. Lets see how they like it.

So here's a couple questions.
How much run off should I have when I water? Minimal or is a slight flushing ok?
and
Today was just a plain water day and out of curiosity I tested my run off.
Ph 6.0
Ppm 272 with my fresh water testing at 147.
Does this mean I can or should kick up my nutrients on my next feeding day?

Ok so after some deep thought, I've decided that to ensure the future of my empire, I'm going to split my girls up and feed 3 of them synthetic dtw, and the other 2, continue with my original organic schedule. Being that my media is 85% coir/perlite, this transition should work out just fine. I will keep everyone posted.

Today was the first day I feed. Half strength

Day 15

Day 15

My top 3, that I chosen to flush and convert to my regular GH feeding program are looking good in color and really starting to take off. They are the 3 in the dark pots. As for the 2 in the gray pots, they are the two duds of the bunch, and are so far behind. With these two I'm going to continue to feed them 100% organic and see if I can finish them out.
This first run isn't ment to be a money maker just the start of one, so bare with me. The shows will get better!

Day 20 veg.

Day 20 veg.

They are really looking good since I went on the 6/9. The 2 weak slow growing ones that I was going to continue organic, have never took off and starting to yellow. So I went ahead and put them on the juice. They are showing signs of pulling through and getting color back. It'll be crazy if they come back and fill some space. I was thinking they were going to be gonners.

I failed this organic grow, and officially went coco/ 6/9 plus CALiMAGic and ArmorSi/ drain to waste. Next time when I can gather the the proper organic arsenal I'll give it another shot. Hope I don't lose anyone. The show will keep rockin. The Cookies are a few weeks from going in the oven.

Luckily I've got a rock solid style to fall back on, and the experience to pull through. I've decided I'm going to dial the organics in on my outdoor greenhouse. And once i've got a couple more lights going, I can afford to experiment and do some side by sides.

Day 29

Day 29

It's been a few days so I just wanted to give a little up day. They're going great now! Yesterday was day 28 so I took the 6 longest cuttings I could find and got them stabbed into Botanicare Coco Plugs. It something new I got at the expo this year. They look promising so we'll see how well they work. The plugs are made of coco, ewc, and silica. Under normal circumstances I use straight coir in small clear cups(w/ drain holes), inside of small red cups, but my motto remains the same, "Use it if ya got it." ... As long as it works.

My bigger plants are right at 18" and I also topped them by cutting just the apex node and removed all the lower nodes.

My 2 smaller plants are trying to catch up but are 4" behind. I've opted not to top them for 2 reasons, 1 I've never not topped a plant, and 2 It'll probably be best to give them the best chance at producing the same weight as their 3 big sisters.

I will be transplanting from these 2 gal smarties to the 5 gal squares before next feeding then it will be 2 wks countdown before flip.

Dude I think my out door came out pretty fire. It's shiny and taste good with a nice little lung expansion. I'll snap a picture I didn't get no mold nor did I find any caterpillar damage. I hung for 7 days, then trimmed and cut everything big down to popcorn size nuggs, sweated in a bag for 3 days and I just put it in jars today. But I only got a wimpy 8.5oz. That a shit in the bucket compared to my last outdoor. Lol

Day 30

Day 30

Maybe somebody can help me decide. I don't know if I should transplant into the square 5gal or just run them all the way in the 2 gallon smart pots. If I do it now, then the fabric pots were pointless. If I do it day of flip then I don't think the roots will have the chance to establish themselves and wouldn't stretch much more than the existing 2 gal root ball. If I wait a little longer and do it say after the stretch I risk stress and no establishing root growth. I'm pretty sure I could make it just fine without. Does anyone have a better knowledge of, and the limits of fabric pots?

Here's my current plan. I wanted to test and see how the hoop set in such a small pot. It works and look pretty good I think.

I'm going to secure the branches with pipe cleaners.

I think your Golden in the 2s...
I've noticed with most the plants I've done in fabric Smart pots.
They are so well air pruned that the roots really dont
need the extra medium a bigger pot would provide...

I did a 64g Gsc in a 1 gallon smart pot and the pot still had loose dirt...

Think your looking good and well on your way...

Work some magic bro....

Forsure and thanks bro. It was my understanding that because of the air pruning the root ball can become a lot denser and complex, meaning transplants are less often needed.

Personally I perfer planting in the pot I'm going to finish in. Back in the day when I was doing my 24 plant colosseum grow I only needed 7" square hydrofarm pots. Now that I'm working on the vsog I'm switching to fabric pots. The next set up will be all 2s or 3s. Most likely 2s if I like the finishing root mass and it doesn't look over grown.

Ive found dense cores of roots in my pots(within a few inches of the stem) thinning out as they get closer to the pot.
Of course this was using a pulse feeding with the feed ring being close to the main stem..

I would imagine if bottom fed you would find a different root system going. ...

I also found air pots being enjoyable to use as they are more ridged ...

I find myself cutting up my smart pots for different projects..

But.. That's just me and nothing against Smarts. ..
