I'd say 15% increase in quality instead of yield..

I handwater with no runoff, I usually just count to 15 for each pot, wait a few seconds then nudge them to see if they have enough. it's not an exact science. the pots hold more water as the plants get bigger.

you dont very often see pots on shelves with no drip trays or drainage. i guess its kind of tricky learning to water with no runoff but using the same size pots for a few cycles helps you get the timing right. definitely the best handwatering setup for me.
