According to MSNBC, 17,500 NG troops have already been activated and more than 81,000 square miles are now off limits to fishing.
and btw
"most of the oil washing up in florida is not from this incident"
please do explain what stinking hole you squeezed this nugget of brilliance out of?
ive been around the gulf a loooooooong time and never seen a 2' deep slick at casino beach.
But to crumple to the ground in anguish...please...
Had she not lived around the ocean long?
Look, you can throw you snide shit at me all you want to, and most folks in here will back you up on it..no matter what sort of nasty language or names you would call me...your anger is justified in their eyes.lmao
there was a tar factory in pensacola bay we are used to tarballs.
when a woman sees the beach where she raised 5 children and seven grandchildren...where her husbands ashes are spread...where she was married
covered in slicks of oil 2 feet deep yes she cried..yes she crumpled
and no she has never lived near the "ocean" we laugh at tourists who call the gulf the ocean.
she has lived on the gulf her entire life as did her mother before her and so on for a hundred generations.
i would tell you to fuck off and call you an ignorant piece of human offal...
but ignorance is rampant in this day and age and its probably your parents fault for raising you wrong...so ill just pitty you and wish it could have better for you.

Heartless my ass. Just what sort of response should I give? I don't understand how the thing works with people who lead their lives with nothing but their emotions to guide them. Should I say that my heart is quite saddened by the lady's emotional response? That's pretty heartless. This shit down here is going to destroy a way of life. Maybe you should come down here and help clean up and talk to some of the locals. You need a big dose of perspective.
Good grief...now the world is doomed.who could have imagined that a 20 inch hole could destroy the world
take a look back sport...no one was talking to you when you jumped in with your snide little comments...Look, you can throw you snide shit at me all you want to, and most folks in here will back you up on it..no matter what sort of nasty language or names you would call me...your anger is justified in their eyes.
But basically, fuck off.
See, Casino beach never did see a slick "2 feet deep".
It didn't happen that way at Casino beach. And on or about the 23-25th of June, a cleanup crew cleaned the majority of the slick that washed in, up. And it has not returned, and the beach was reopened.
we?Now, do we have a mess that is beyond what we have had before? Sure we do, and nobody has denied that. But what we also have is opportunity for the emotional basket cases to make things far worse than they really are.
mother..I wonder if your aunt was damning herself, while she was all crumpled down in anguish, for the lifestyle she chose to live that created the demand for this oil?
apperently a helluva lot...And yes, the majority of tar and oil that washes up in FL is not from this spill. Or perhaps you know something I don't?
on a geological time scale your numbers work......a more realistic comparison is the past 20 years. sport,bucko,chief,guy,friend,dude...shall we dispense with the pet names? You do realize that the largest contributor to free flow of crude into the ocean (get over your gulf self, jr..it's an ocean) is natural seepage? By a large margin natural oil seeps far outweigh all the rig spills and drilling incidents of the earth put together.
How about you, dagnabit...you gonna change your lifestyle now? I'm not talking about little token things that amount to nothing, but a real commitment to divesting yourself of all things petroleum?
none was asked for or neededHeartless my ass. Just what sort of response should I give?
People, do get it together and dry your tears. Tears never did shit for anybody or anything. Try a little sweat for a change.
Yep, there you have it folks....hoosier has spoken....there is nothing else to say.
He is of course 100% right, as always...everyone else either has their heads up their leftist asses, or is too governed by their emotions to be rational.
He knows what is happening in the Gulf better than the folks who live there, and can assure us all that the effects from this will be all gone in a few short years, so let's keep drilling away.....just like he knows that there is no deforestation problem, and natural seeps are soooo much worse than the Deepwater Horizon disaster.
Can't you see folks....yer all wrong...only hoosier is right....
So let's all listen to him, shan't we?
my folks raised me just fine, fuck you very much. I suggest you leave peoples partents out of arguments, or you may have someone wanting to bust you in your sissy fucking nose.
now see what you've done hoosier you have made me agree with this fucking numbnuts obamabot!
And dagnabit, just because you don't know the facts of an issue does not make it preposterous drivel.
Study up, jr.
A group following me would be in far better shape than a group following you, genkisan.
Folks following people like you end up in the killing fields.
Yeah, transplants living near the sand sure have a much better perspective on things.
And no, this does not effect the rest of us, and it only effects the people on the sand.
We inlanders should not even be concerned, right?

Who really gives a ripe rats toss who what or where you are? This aint about you and your emotionally distraught aunt anyway.
