US Orders Blackout Over North Korean Torpedoing Of Gulf Of Mexico Oil Rig
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.
Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war” it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due toSouth Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.
To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel” Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide” troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated” from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).
On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal” 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright. Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.
To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an “impossible dilemma” prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York.
This “impossible dilemma” facing Obama is indeed real as the decision he is faced with is either to allow the continuation of this massive oil leak catastrophe to continue for months, or immediately stop it by the only known and proven means possible, the detonation of a thermonuclear device.
Russian Navy atomic experts in these reports state that should Obama choose the “nuclear option” the most viable weapon at his disposal is the United States B83 (Mk-83) strategic thermonuclear bomb having a variable yield (Low Kiloton Range to 1,200 Kilotons) which with its 12 foot length and 18 inch diameter, and weighing just over 2,400 pounds, is readily able to be deployed and detonated by a remote controlled mini-sub.
Should Obama choose the “nuclear option” it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in “extreme circumstances” or “self defense”.
On the other hand, if Obama chooses the “nuclear option” it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran.
To whatever decision Obama makes it remains a fact that with each passing hour this environmental catastrophe grows worse. And even though Obama has ordered military SWAT teams to protect other oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico from any further attack, and further ordered that all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico be immediately stopped, this massive oil spill has already reached the shores of America and with high waves and more bad weather forecast the likelihood of it being stopped from destroying thousands of miles of US coastland and wildlife appears unstoppable.
And not just to the environmental catastrophe that is unfolding the only devastation to be wrecked upon the United States and South Korea by this North Korean attack as the economic liabilities associated with this disaster are estimated by these Russian reports to be between $500 Billion to $1.5 Trillion, and which only a declaration of this disaster being an “act of war” would free some the World’s largest corporations from bankruptcy.
Important to note too in all of these events was that this was the second attack by North Korea on its South Korean enemy, and US ally, in a month as we had reported on in our March 28th report titled “Obama Orders ‘Immediate Stand-down’ After Deadly North Korean Attack” and which to date neither the Americans or South Korea have retaliated for and giving one senior North Korean party leader the courage to openly state that the North Korean military took “gratifying revenge” on South Korea.
And for those believing that things couldn’t get worse, they couldn’t be more mistaken as new reports coming from Japanese military sources are stating that North Korea is preparing for new launches of its 1,300 kilometer (807 miles) intermediate range ballistic “Rodong” missile which Russian Space Forces experts state is able to “deploy and detonate” an atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device, and which if detonated high in the atmosphere could effectively destroy the American economy for years, if not decades, to come.

BP is already passing the buck!

BP is already passing the buck!

.

Everyone but BP will be paying for this mess!

And there is nothing you and I can do about it.

That means you and I @ the pump, BP's insurance and I am sure they will find some creative ways to wiggle out of the (financial) responsibility.

"We are responsible, not for the accident, but we are responsible for the oil and for dealing with it and cleaning the situation up," chief executive Tony Hayward said Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America." He said the equipment that failed and led to the spill belonged to owner Transocean Ltd., not BP, which operated the rig, the Deepwater Horizon.
The whole article:

BP says it will pay for Gulf spill's cleanup

.

 I really hope that this is just a bunch of bull....seems to me that, with the internet, the whole world would have heard about this by now....if it were true!!!

initially I found it a bit far fetched, but there are some things that give it a probability of legitimacy.

Obama sent swat teams to the platforms immediately, why?

This platform was at the height of technology but was incapable of detecting a safety concern of this magnitude. I find it a bit hard to believe.

And the timing of it all, the day after earth day, and if there is truth to there being a nuclear device that could stop the leak very quickly, the expected use of it leading up to the UN gathering to discuss a non-proliferation treaty.

I'm not claiming that this story is factual but it does make you think.

The North Korea Article is nothing but pure bullshit....

The threat to the entire world seas is pretty far fetched. More likely is a collapse of the Worlds economies. We will feel a real economic pain before the world comes to an end. I’ll say it again....the economic value of the area equals the 6th largest economy in the World. That’s equal to the United Kingdom! Imagine if France or England just disappeared over a few weeks to a month....

Washington (CNN) -- Top federal officials said Sunday that the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is a potential catastrophe and defended the Obama administration's response so far.

Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Thad Allen warned the leaking oil from a rig explosion could continue for weeks with dire consequences.

"It potentially is catastrophic," Salazar said. "I think we have to prepare for the worst."

Calling the spill "massive," Salazar blamed the explosion that caused it on a failure of technology in the rig intended to prevent so-called blowouts.

"There is no doubt at all here that what has happened is the blowout prevention mechanism at the bottom of the well ... is defective," Salazar said. "While there have been blowouts in the past, we have never seen anything that has been quite of this magnitude."

Allen said it was impossible so far to know how much oil will eventually leak, saying: "We lost a total well head; it could be 100,000 barrels or more a day."

"This spill, at this point in my view, is indeterminate," Allen said. "That makes it asymmetrical, anomalous and one of the most complex things we've ever dealt with."

Capping the leak at its source 5,000 feet beneath the surface is the top priority, Allen said. However, the depth makes it impossible to send human crews, requiring the use of unmanned devices called remote operation vehicles, he said.

"The first place we have to fight it is 5,000 feet down," Allen said. "That's where ultimately this is going to have to be fixed or a relief well ultimately is drilled."

If the leak cannot be capped at the source, he said, the next step is to use dispersants and surface burning offshore, followed by coastal protection efforts such as the hundreds of thousands of feet of oil booms in use.

The final step, if the slick reaches the shore, is a recovery effort in damaged areas, Allen said.

Stopping the oil at the wetlands and other coastal areas was "not where we want to do this," Allen said. "We have to stop this oil where it's emanating on the sea floor."

All three officials repeatedly emphasized that BP, the oil giant that owns the destroyed rig, is legally responsible for the spill and cleanup efforts.

Asked if BP has responded properly, they avoided direct criticism, with Allen noting BP was deploying its top technology, such as the remote operation vehicles, which the government doesn't have.

At the same time, Napolitano and Salazar said the Obama administration had reacted quickly to what they called an escalating situation.

Napolitano noted the incident was first an explosion and fire, with a search-and-rescue effort for missing rig workers. It then worsened when the rig sank two days later, followed by the increasing oil leak, she said.

While BP was the first responder, the Coast Guard reacted right away to the situation and deployed 70 vessels and 1 million feet of boom for possible service, Napolitano said.

"That's exactly why from day one there were already deploying vessels and booms ... in case that scenario should result," Napolitano said.

Salazar noted that the Obama administration has ordered inspections of "blowout preventers" on other Gulf rigs. The government's job was to "keep the boot on the neck of" BP to ensure it meets its obligations in stopping the spill, dealing with the oil slick and paying for all costs and damages.

Also on the CNN program Sunday, Florida's Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio called the oil slick a "crisis" but withheld judgment on the administration's response.

According to Rubio, it appeared that much of the early information provided to the federal government by BP had been "either inaccurate or shortcoming."

In recent days, Rubio said, "we've seen the administration move aggressively and I hope aggressively enough."

To think we could be using hemp for all of our fuel needs, if they had just listened to Jack Herer. This whole thing is a total disaster, the 2012 predictions might actually end up being true I am afraid. :(

stop buying petrolium based products. that should be our thinking from now on. gas, deisel, plastics, all of it.the only people that should be able to drive are emergancey personel. the rest of us should grab a bike,or walk. then their would be no more gas industry and less polution and our obeisety rate would plummit,. plus if we cant drive to far then our local economies would thrive, buy here sell here. 3 birds 1 stone.

IMO the payment is done by everyone since this catastrophe is so huge you can't imagine.200.000 gallons of oil each day with a geothermic pressure which is indescribable.BP is blaming the other company from which they did rent the platform, but they already lost 36 billion $ on the stock market today.Exxon Valdez is a little disaster compared with this one and after 20 years you still find the damage it has caused on Alaska, so what can we expect from this disaster.I don't know!!

Namaste :plant grow: :canabis:

the safety backup is nothing more than a hydraulic claw that crushes the pipe closed. If the pressure was high enough or the natural gas was ignited this would do nothing to stop the flow.

I highly believe this is a conspiracy played by BP for political sabotage and financial gain.

A month after Obama announced he was expanding offshore drilling, this calamity occurred.

Federal law sets a limit of $75 million on BP’s liability for damages, apart from the cleanup costs.

The 20 Billion dollars they "lost" in the financial market was probably stock from BP's CEO's, Presidents, and large players in the Oil industry, selling off quick or using stock options to their advantage, all in the name of greed at the expense of others.

The karmic laws of the universe will seek balance over time, so any ill-will presented in this situation will definitely come back to haunt them. Electric cars have been an option since the 1800's, but OIL OIL OIL has breathed it's greedy breath all over gluttonous pigs who will eventually suffer from the poison and destruction brought on by themselves.

We haven't begun to feel the effects of this MAJOR fuckup.

BP says, "It ain't my fault, but I'm gonna pay for it."

Just what Louisiana needs.....man you better kiss shrimp goodbye, and all the rest of the seafood we love. Today I saw on the news they are finding dead Sea Turtles and Jellyfish on the beaches. Unbelievable that there is a CAP on how much liability they have to clean it up.What about when that slick goes over the Keys, where the largest living coral reefs are? This is really a disaster that will affect us for years. And yes,I did notice the same thing you did RESIN. BP actually made quite a bit of $$ last year,I don't know the number.

And we should pay...we should have got off of oil's tit in the 70's....this is our fault!

Only to the extent we have allowed our country to be ruled by the oil oligarchy.

"An oligarchy (from Greek ὀλιγαρχία, oligarkhía[1]) is a form of government in which power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, military might, or religious hegemony."

You really can't blame the crack baby for being addicted to the drugs its all-controlling parent forced upon it.

Anybody else notice, within just a few months ago, that all (or most) of the Mobil gas stations were being replaced by BP?
