Hey do you guys feel that it is worthwhile to spend the extra $$$ on buying an expensive growing bulb (Hortilux) or simply going with the $20 model that you can find at some home repair center??

nice guys! switchin from a 250 CMH to a 400 CMH next week. cant wait.
heres some pics of my current with the 250. my main concern is heat. max temps now with 250 are 78. summer around 83. i hope not to exceed 85 in summer with 400 or i may have to use 250 for summer. we'll see....

No bulb, but local guy carries...

Yup - 430w hps ballast, can use either 400w or 430w bulbs, right?
